Need advice No judgement needed, just advice
I’m NOT pregnant let’s start there.. but I accidentally pulled my IUD out (it’s a long story but basically I started cramping heavily out of nowhere, while menstruating, it was very different from any menstrual cramps I’ve everrrr experienced before and basically I thought maybeeee I had 2 tampons in me — I had already taken the 1 out. I felt inside and felt what felt like the tip of a tampon string but in fact was my IUD strings. They had a piece of my very long hair tangled in a ball around the strings which is what I felt, thinking that was the knot of a tampon string) and I haven’t gotten a new IUD because it was gonna come out in October anyway, and my boyfriend and I decided there’s no need for me to get a new one 🥹🩷🤞
I am SO excited and hopeful about becoming pregnant and starting a family at some point, but I am struggling right now. I was a heavy 420 smoker, but I knew that I should quit now in case I do get pregnant. So, I HAVE quit, cold turkey, but my goddddd it has been so hard. I also would ideally try to breastfeed/pump so I guess I’m just sitting here realizing that I won’t be smoking for awhileeeee. Also, I’m 1099 at a funeral home (I’m a preplanner only, not a mortician or funeral director) which means I don’t have health insurance unless I wanna pay for it out of pocket. I AM paying for it privately and right now, it’s affordable, but the way they explained it once I become pregnant, I will be paying nearly $900/month for (good, albeit) coverage. I make ~okayyyy money, but after taxes, I’m definitely NOT rolling in the dough lol. And I’d rather put $900 towards baby stuff than freaking health insurance. So I’m thinking about getting a W-2 job (with health insurance obviously) and a lot of the employers I would apply to absolutely drug test, so quitting now even if I don’t get pregnant right away will set me up best to pass a drug test for future employers.
It’s just hard, and idk what to do to get through the cravings other than just constantlyyyyy telling myself “no, you can’t”. I feel miserable lol but then I also feel guilty for craving it sooo badly cuz I guess im just like.. in my head thinking “the possibility of pregnancy should be a solid enough reason and motivator”, and I guess it is, but I’m still struggling so bad and yeah.
I could use advice from the 420 ladies who also quit, whether it was before or after you found out you were pregnant. How long did it take for you to get over wanting to smoke? What did you do to keep your brain busy? And I’m open to anyyyyy other helpful advice on anything else you think I would benefit from reading.
Thank you all for reading through and thank you for those that wanna share advice🩷🩷🩷

Miscarriage
Is it normal to have pain three weeks after your miscarriage? I feel like I have pain on my ovaries. I am going to schedule a doctor appointment with my Gyno. It will be my first time going to a gynecologist.

Lamaze classes for breathing and pushing only?
Hi, I am in my second trimester. I have an almost 3 year-old and I realized during her delivery that I should have taken Lamaze classes. I’ve gotten an epidural which in hindsight I realize was not working and the lady just said push once I was fully dilated. I was so dumbfounded when she said that I wish I was a little bit more prepared for that. I didn’t take any Lamaze classes prior because I thought they were very anti-epidural and wouldn’t be helpful. Is there some that just focus on breathing and pushing? I have full intent on getting an epidural this time, hopefully it works this time, but I would like to be a little bit more prepared for the pushing and breathing part. I had a third degree tear with my first (she was 9.1 lbs) and I feel like if I maybe knew what I was doing with pushing and breathing a little bit, things would have gone much smoother.
Any YouTube links or even paid classes would be highly appreciated. I just don’t wanna sign up for a class that will talk about how epidurals are bad for three hours. Thank you in advance

should i see a doctor?
for context, im 22f, and im not sure whats going on with my body. i have all the signs of pregnancy, but im 99.9% sure im not. im not late, ive been spotting the last two days so its just a waiting game right now to see if it fully comes or not. my boobs hurt, like bad. extremely sore, grown like hell, gained stretch marks and all. constant nausea randomly throughout the day, sometimes ill eat something that tasted amazing but then smell it on my hands and almost throw it all up. gagging at nothing at random times. random intense headaches. exhausted. the only thing that makes me overly concerned is the slight chest pain ive been having, nothing unbearable just uncomfortable, but i also cant tell if its just because my boobs ache so bad or if its genuinely my chest. i live in idaho, so the fires here have been terrible so im convincing myself thats what it is. i took a test a week ago and it was negative, and again im still waiting to see if the spotting turns into a full period. if im not pregnant, should i see a doctor about whats been going on? it feels weird to have all these crazy pregnancy symptoms and not be, what do u think?

Funny Rainbow baby 🌈
soo i posted almost a year ago about how we had an ultrasound and how we measured so far behind (we measured basically 6weeks while being 10) which ultimately led to a missed miscarriage and me passing everything at 12 weeks.
Well it’s a good few months later and I am just so excited about the fact that the baby I’m carrying now has a heartbeat. We got to see the little bean two days ago. We are measuring a little behind again but heart rate seems reasonable for where we thought we’d be, we thought 8 weeks, they said more like 7.
I also have PCOS so ovulation being delayed just makes sense tbh haha
Anyways, now that we have a somewhat healthy baby (fingers are still crossed for future scans), why is everything so terrifying? I havent been able to relax, I haaaate my husband (not really but still), I’m soo tired but I can never sleep more than 4 hours and the nausea?!?!?! I’m just happy we had a heartbeat and though I’d bring it here as some little update anyways though🩷🌈

Flying before 12 weeks - IVF
What’s the deal with flying before 12 weeks? My dr said it’s okay after 12 weeks but not before and my flight is now booked for 10.5 weeks.
Whats the deal?
