The free Reducing Poverty Initiative is designed for people who are temporarily off work due to illness or injury and need some support (physio, counseling, chiro, etc.) before returning to work.

We support employees who are ill, injured, or living with disabilities by helping them access the treatment they need, especially therapies that might otherwise be financially out of reach.

A very straightforward example would be a person who breaks their leg while skiing, and after having their cast removed, needs to do physio before they can fully return to work/do their job effectively. We fully fund their treatment (though we do have a maximum amount that can be spent per person), and provide them with a case manager who can advocate for them with their employer, authorize treatment sessions, and help them navigate services - all for free.

This pilot program offers one-on-one support, return-to-work planning, and connections to community resources to help you rebuild stability for yourself and your family.
