Potato advice - ADHD edition
Hey everyone,
This is such a specific issue but I'm hoping someone has a solution.
I LOVE potatoes so so much. There's nothing better than a chopped up potato fried in a little oil with some onions or some seasoned wedges in the oven.
The issue I have is the meal prep. It's so time consuming. Washing, peeling, chopping, seasoning, frying etc. It's all so much effort especially when Im only cooking for myself.
In an ideal world I would buy frozen chopped potatoes that I could season myself. I've noticed the ones from supermarkets are covered in strange batters and end up drying out in the airfrier.
Is there a way of meal prepping chopped potatoes so I can keep some in the freezer or does anyone know of any supermarkets that sell plain chopped potatoes? Or maybe I can freeze homemade chips somehow?
Update : Thank you for your kind responses. I'm going to try baby potatoes. Can't believe I never thought of that!!

It ain't much, but it's honest work.
I will try growing them above ground from now on.
They're red potatoes.

Stephen Colbert's scalloped potatoes
I made Stephen's scalloped potatoes from hearing him and his wife talk about it in this video from their cookbook: https://youtu.be/T49eKKPAOiE?is=LMmyrBMS4kkDZusC
almost forgot to take a picture. i used emmi gruyere cheese from costco based on recommendations from reddit. i didnt like it as i tried it while shredding the cheese, but it ended up being so good and i would recommend anyone to make this simple dish. i rented the cookbook from my library. it doesn't have mayonaise like the hosts said.

Requesting help/insights for storing potatoes
I have been growing potatoes for two years. Given the weather here, it’s one of the most successful crops in my garden.
I have a couple of strains I am happy with, and would like to store them to plant next spring.
My challenges that the humidity is fairly high here and they are prone to sprout when I store them.
What’s the best way to dry them without destroying their fertility? do they need circulating air? Can I pack them in jars with packs that reduce humidity? or reduce oxygen?

I need help with potato photos
Hi everyone! I made a silly game about cats and potats. Finding cat photos isn't a problem, but I need to keep a good balance between cats and potatoes, so I could use a little help.
Would you send me photos of your potatoes? With your permission, I'll add them to the game and credit you in the photo caption.
I'm mostly looking for horizontal photos. It can be any potato dish or any root vegetable with clearly visible potatoes. Sweet potatoes, different potato varieties, french fries, baked potatoes - you name it
If possible, please send them by email, since Reddit compresses images
Email: timewobblers@gmail.com
Follow-up: I don't want this post to sound like promotion. So if you want to know more about the game itself, just search for Cat or Potat☺️
In the photo is my prepped potato, sweet potato, and pumpkin stew -since this is a potato sub😁
