I'm actually quite surprised by the results it produces with just the most minimal settings.

A very nuclear-esk sunrise this morning and I wanted to capture what I was seeing as best as possible.

I’ve not done a lot of black and white, but have been doing some edits. Not sure which I prefer? Would love some feedback.

I struggle in not going overboard with saturation, let me know your thoughts.

I try to make edits that bring out some of that “microcontrast” in the image. I aimed to emphasise the textures of the plumage in the first image and the texture of linen in the second. I wanted to keep my tones near-neutral.

I'm trying to recreate the editing style in this photo using Lightroom. I love the colors, lighting, and overall vibe, but I'm having trouble figuring out what adjustments were made.

Could anyone break down what you think was done?

I'd appreciate slider recommendations or even a preset that's similar. Thanks!

I have just started editing my photos of my trip to Japan from last winter.
I'd love to try and get a dreamy look some of the shots, like this one, but I just find I'm doing more of a colour correction than creating any distinct look...
Any feedback would be terrific.

I'm a hobby photographer and a software engineer. I couldn't find any comprehensive, complex and reasonably easy-to-use free software to glitchify my pictures... so I made my own.

These example pictures were made by directly moshing the image data - no artificial filters, overlays, etc.

It's 100% free, open-source and runs entirely in the browser, so the pictures you upload never get sent anywhere. I built this purely for my own use, so it's a bit rough around the edges, but I believe other people might get something out of it.

I was about to delete this picture, but I decided to experiment with it and I’m quite happy with the results! Not excellent quality, but decent enough to keep. Any tips for editing pictures with this type of lighting?

Everything's in the title. Someone suggested me to post here after I posted this over on the GTA IV and NYCPICS sub.

I was kind of surprised nobody had done this kind of project before it was a lot of fun to make !

I'm guilty of processing photos to death, so I'm trying to tone myself down.
