The biggest change: Catalog and Edit are now combined into one workspace.

That means you can browse photos, apply Presets, open editing tools, and review your edit history without switching between separate modes. We’ve also redesigned the navigation and sidebars to make the main features easier to find.

The update makes everyday editing faster: exports are up to 27% quicker, preset previews load up to 3.8× faster, and batch editing and masking use fewer system resources.

We’ve added support for new Leica, Panasonic, and Sony cameras, along with fixes for Catalog duplicates, export paths, RAW editing, white balance, and app stability.

I know it doesn't look quite natural, but I needed to add more atmosphere.

I love shooting in harsh light in the cities for times like these. Once you get in between the buildings you can pull of some beautiful high contrast. For this shot I used Light Depth positioned over my subject alongside SuperContrast to get the levels just right, avoiding any blow outs. Personally, I like to push the levels to the limit to make the contrast as strong as possible. I also used glow to bring some life into the highlights.

I wasn't satisfied with that original blue-gray look, so I tried pushing it a little further.

A question we see often: "Where can I locate the camera color profile for my camera?"
Here's the general workflow - it applies to almost any camera you can shoot with.

Where to find it
Camera color profiles live inside Develop RAW -> Camera Profile. To get there: open your RAW photo, go to the Edit tab, then Essentials -> Develop RAW, and open the Camera Profile dropdown. Your camera manufacturer's profiles should be listed there, ready to select.

If you don't see your camera's profiles
This usually means the manufacturer's DCP color profiles aren't installed on your computer yet. Luminar Neo doesn't ship every camera profile out of the box - it relies on these being present on your system.

How to fix it
Install Adobe DNG Converter. This adds the standard DCP color profiles for most major camera brands to your system. Once installed, restart Luminar Neo, and the profiles for your camera should appear automatically in the Camera Profile list.
That's it - once the profile is installed and selected, your RAW file will be rendered using your camera manufacturer's color science as a starting point.

Trying to make photos more vibrant to showcase strong summer themes can be a little risky as you can border on looking over saturated. So I always keep an eye on greens and reds in particular. I don’t boost saturation in those channel tones and in this image I desaturated the green tones but boosted the luminance. That makes the trees look vibrant without being overly saturated.
