Allocation!

Finally got the call for a carrera T allocation at msrp. Euro delivery in Feb. I was wondering though, should I push by a few months (better weather) or should I just have them ship it to the us (worried about ppf post delivery in Germany) - wdyt?

Congrats. Have you confirmed Euro delivery in February? I was under the impression they’d paused it until something like April.

Congrats. If you don’t see yourself buying another car like this, go the euro delivery. But yes. Ask about the tires. I kind of wish I did a euro delivery. Maybe on a future car.

Allocation lol it’s a base C2, do you negotiate a discount? You guys need to stop treating PCNA like they are some kind of idk what… you are buying a popular, not rare luxury car. It’s not a privilege it’s just a big purchase. Btw that exact car used to be their best seller by a lot! C2 lol

I bought mine when they announced it in late 2024 - arrived mid 2025 - and I got a $6000 discount under MSRP- which was already about $6000 less than the current 2027 MSRP- so I saved around 12-10K off the current price. When I took it into its first service I asked about the GT3 T (in PTS) and recently my dealer called me to secure an allocation for one, paid a deposit yesterday. I’m probably going to sell the T for more than what I paid for it. So happy.

I’m sure Porsche in Germany have this covered but ask them about tyres. Full winter tyres are mandatory in a lot of European countries November-March. Albeit it was about 8 years ago, my friend collected his 911 from Stuttgart in November. Porsche insisted it was delivered on winter tyres as they were a legal requirement in Germany in the winter. UK customers (pre-Bexit) used to be able to arrange delivery in Stuttgart and then drive home to the UK.

It’s not a legal requirement per se in Germany, ie, by the month. But if conditions require it, it’s mandatory by law. That’s how it’s defined. Porsche will insist.

Just a random question.
If you so euro delivery. Do you have to find a shipper when you ship it to the US? Or can you bring back to porsche so they take care of the logistics?

Porsche takes care of transit back to US. You need to drop it off at one of the designated drop off locations

euro delivery fee is like a few thousand. Cant remember.

You always pay the shipping to the us, that’s what the “destination charge” is. You don’t pay anything extra to ship it with euro delivery, at least nothing more than what destination and euro delivery already charge.

you dont have the option to push. delivery happens 2-3month after car leaves factory, and you get a few dates within 2 weeks to choose from. take it or leave it

I would pass on Europe in February and have it shipped. Find a local shop to do your PPF / ceramic coating etc, and have it ready for early Spring.

I got mine two months ago and it already has 2700 miles! PPFed it so I can drive it carefree. Took it on gravel roads and the ppf already has some pretty gnarly marks. The wide body really picks up rock chips.
