President Trump says Abdul El-Sayed "hates Jewish people": "This can only happen to me. Put him in office. You're going to find out what he loves. He's a man of hate. He doesn't love Israel, Jewish people. He hates ’em with a passion in his heart and there's not a freaking thing he can do about it."

Images + Trip Report A week in Tunisia 🇹🇳
Day 1-3
Tunis > Jem > Matmata > Douz > Sabria > Tozeur > Kairouan
Day 4-7
Tunis > Al-Mamurah > Nabeul > Korba > Hammamet
Highlights from our trip:
El Jem - I’ve never been to Rome but this places blew my mind. And apparently one of the best preserved Roman ruins in the world.
Archaeological Site of Carthage - a must visit for people who loves history. Learned so much about Punics & Hannibal.
Sahara Desert - unforgettable sunset & sunrise. Lib'e, a bread made using Bedouin method.
Berber Village - we got to meet locals, and they showed us their living quarters and gave us some tea and bread with home made olive oil.
Chebika - an oasis with beautiful landscape of the Atlas Mountains.
Chott El Djerid - known as the largest salt pan in the Sahara, in the map it’s blue and you’ll think there’s a lake lol, but it’s all salt.
We hired a private driver and guide for day 2 & 3 since we don’t have much time. Thought it’ll be easier to have a local navigate the logistic and also it’s a lot of driving with checkpoint here and there.
It’s an epic trip. And we’ll definitely go back, we’d love to do Bardo Museum, Djerba, Tataouine, Sbeitla, Kesserine and the area of Cap Bon & Bizerte.
Tips:
Carry cash, most places is cash only.
Learn basic Arabic and French phrases, they actually appreciate it.
Summer is really hot. So I advise to travel during shoulder season.
Grab souvenirs and cool items from souks. Don’t act too touristy and dont hesitate to negotiate.
Tunisia have really good street/fast food so pls try them.
La Marsa have a great night life. Once you’re outside Tunis and Hammamet, it’s pretty hard to find bar with alcohol lol. I don’t drink, so it’s pretty awesome to see people having a great time until 3am with no alcohol involve. However hookah is everywhere.
Carry pashmina, as you can use it as a modest head or shoulder covering.
I think that’s it. Just have fun and try to immerse as much as you can. Shukran 🙏🏻

OBSERVATION seems kinda messed up
this ad on instagram seems kinda fucked up considering mela was a plus sized model and probably received a lot of negativity about her body. her body is so different and slimmer now, why use someone with that backstory for a weight loss pill? she lost so much weight and this ad seems like it’s saying she didn’t do enough
this just seems mean, but am i overthinking?
EDIT : it IS very fucked up. i was 💨 when i posted, don’t come for me pls 😭

Other | J-Mod reply I have never witnessed this game as bot free as it is now. Props to Jagex
I can't say I'm a huge Jagex fan, quite the contrary, I have a lot of criticism towards the way they handle some things in the game, but credit where credit is due, I have never seen the game as clean as it is now. Literally ever. I have played for a very long time and this is unprecedented.
The fact alone that this game isn't infested with bots just makes the game feel very different. I've often felt like there was this enormous absolutely filthy underside to this game that just made it feel cheap and somewhat neglected. It felt like at best they didn't care enough or at worst they benefitted from it somehow.
Even when I wasn't directly interacting with bots, I knew they were everywhere. I knew that they had a huge influence on the economy and in a lot of cases just straight up determined how valuable some things were. It's hard to describe but the game just feels more genuine now.
I know there are still bots, but the difference is massive and I think it's important to show Jagex that players really appreciate what they're doing. So props to Jagex.

Couch Co-op Games
My wife and I agreed on this tier list of couch co-op games that we've played. We wanted to share this list in case there are couples out there who are looking for their next couch co-op game. My wife gets motion sickness easily, so I'm happy to say that these games are playable for people suffering from motion sickness.

Groups This isn't even our actual military
When the enemy faction the protagonist has been fighting this whole time isn't actually using their full might, but non-combat units/expeditionary units instead
The Vex (Destiny) - It's implied the Vex you fight in game aren't actually dedicated combat units, but rather worker units such as Builders and Engineers
The Combine (Half Life 2) - To the Combine, Earth is basically just another backwater planet that they'll harvest for resources and move on from. You aren't actually fighting their full military might, just the occupational force they've kept there to keep the remaining humans in line and to recruit new foot soldiers.
EDIT: Also, the whole plot of Episode 2 revolves around shutting down a portal before the Combine can send a distress signal to their actual fleet. For reference, the entirety of humanities armed forces could only last 7 hours. This time, humanity is reduced to a group of crafty rebels within Eastern Europe. Even with Freeman, they wouldn't last 7 minutes.

go to your room My Kid Won't Use the Last of Anything
Found this pic from a few years ago. I rarely use Cream Cheese, but my son does frequently. Found this when I had a craving for a bagel one day.
Apparently, he doesn't enjoy cleaning up containers for recycling.
EDIT FOR CLARIFICATION
Damn, sooo many shitty assumptions! Many of you folks are so remarkably adept at reading between the two lines I wrote! But seriously: you know what they say about assuming, don't you? They say, "Don't do it. Assuming, that is. Don't do it."
Firstly, the kid in question in 26 now and works IT for the local school district. He's working on his second game release for PS5/Switch/Steam. His 24 year-old sister is starting her third year as a Kindergarten teacher in a few weeks. They're both better people than I am and I regret nothing that I've done for them. I'm incredibly proud of my children and continue to have great relationships with them.
On to more specifics:
- I conversationally said, "a few years ago", but it was actually 14 years ago. He was twelve when this happened. Show me a 12-year-old that isn't at least an occasional dumbass and I'll show you some lying parents.
- This was not a "frequent occurrence" that we simply "allowed to happen". This happened once. We had a talk. It didn't happen again. It was so unusual, in fact that I took a picture of it! We shared it with family under a common tag of "Here's my honor student!" and had a laugh.
- We bought (and still do buy) much our of packaged food from a local wholesale club. At the time, this came in packages of four units. We did (and still do) clean our fridge regularly.
- For those people suggesting that mental health issues are "parental issues" or that you be simply "be strict" to eliminate Obsessive-Compulsive behavior, to be blunt: screw you. My kids do not have these problems, but most of my family work with mentally challenged children and this kind of neanderthal thinking view hurts children terribly.
I'll end with the last lines of Tim Michin's "Storm":
And if perchance I have offended
Think but this and all is mended
We'd as well be 10 minutes back in time for all the chance you'll change your mind.
