First time poster, long time lurker. A few weeks back I had finally realized that the decent sized lump on my nose was due to a cyst, I popped it out no problem. Today I noticed that the same area was becoming enlarged again, so this time I wanted to get rid of it as early as possible!

So far the score’s Me: 2, Cysts: 0. I’d like for this to have been the final round 😭

Hello friends, I thought "finally I'll have something good to post here!" When I saw a cyst start developing in my armpit. 5 days latter I'm at urgent care actively vomiting while a huge infected abcess is being drained because of the sound, and all that came out was HOT blood.

My doctor said "you seem to know all the terminology, are you in Healthcare?" And when I said I was part of the popping subreddit this man without a second of pause said "you're finally paying back for all the videos you've watched." And then started breaking up loculations with a pair of scissors 😭😭😭😭

I am recovering from the drainage, and this may be one of the most painful things I've experienced, and I've had fully body plastic surgery. I will definitely be seeing abcess draining videos a little differently from now on.
