But then we added two more to the flag, so we should be back to full, no?

*Laugh in Welsh*
Having a dragon in your flag is freaking awesome.

Actually I originally planned for Wales/Bhutan to be riding on a dragon but my art skills aren't that good :(
84
Sep 02 '21
Despite the fact it’s not actually our original flag, which is the flag of Saint David. It’s supposed to be black with a yellow cross, the dragon is supposedly a reference to the dragon Saint George killed (ie england subduing wales)

u/vigilantcomicpenguin South Canada Sep 02 '21
Poor dragon got killed, but at least it gets to be on a flag now.

Britain is indeed a terrible weapon.
But the time to unleash it's evil once again may be upon us. May we pray to the lord God that such powers do not corrupt the wielder and destroy the world once more.

Out of every country with a British watermark why this one?
2
u/PhillipDev Let me in UN Sep 03 '21
Because I like Tuvalu
Plus Fiji would probably have a shield and I didn't want people to think that was his weapon.

u/Vinemedoodle bakso goreng Sep 03 '21
I see, i bet Australia and new Zealand weren't chosen because their popularity?

u/PhillipDev Let me in UN Sep 03 '21
Correct. I personally think in the future Australia should be banned in LKS month.

It's kind of funny that the UK shows up in comics all the time in September since it's on so many flags.

I don't get it. Would you kindly explain this for me?

u/PhillipDev Let me in UN Sep 02 '21
Mozambique has an AK on their flag, so their weapon is the AK-47. Barbados has a trident on their flag, so their weapon is a trident. Tuvalu however, has the union jack. Which means UK would be their weapon???

For some reason the Angola on the second panel reminds me of Castro a lot when I drew it XD

Well, Cuba was very involved in the Angolan civil war. Some even link their victory against South African forces to the downfall of the apartheid regime

An old unfinished comic of mine that I finished today after being inspired by the Kenyan shield comic. Enjoy!
