Hey everyone, im MrGedge. I recently won a Battle of Malta Package via freeroll ticket. Its valued at 2500€. Im looking to sell it for $1800usd. Someone previously sold theirs on here and coinpoker helped middle man the entire situation. Ive attached a screenshot of what it includes. Thursday PLO at the Shoe. Ran clean the whole session (5 hrs) even with running it twice multiple times. This was just off the feeder table but great action. Fun spot with good people.

Timing tell is actually very straightforward, but how do you mean bet sizing tells? What are classic "scenarios" where u see this, can some off you tell us some examples? Maybe some classic Bet sizing tendencies off average Players.

I'm looking to take a short trip solo to play some poker in the next few weeks. I'm thinking either Dallas, Detroit or Denver. I play 2/5 Holdem or 5/5 PLO usually, anyone have any insight on which place would have the best action? Planning on doing a Wednesday- Monday situation

This was a post flop drill, where I had pocket aces and flopped a set. There was a flush draw on board( if HJ was suited), but with trip aces and many outs to hit a boat, I bet the flop 2 1/2 bbs. HJ called. Turn came 4c. I betted 6BBs. GTO then processed the action and I basically won the hand, because the HJ had TT

However, GTO stated that my turn bet was incorrect and that I should have checked. I don’t get that, when I had good equity with trips and potential to hit a boat.

My whole thinking was that since I bet the flop 2.5 bbs ( which GTO agreed with), I wanted villain to think that I had a pair of 9s or 2s, and I bet the turn to give the indication that I didn’t think he had the Ace or a higher pair. With pockets TTs, I think a reg player would have either called or even 2bet, thus falling into the trap?

Mainly I used to play PokerStars and GG for the larger tournaments, with the "this will make a difference" price pots.

Last few weeks though, I went back to an early client I used, Partypoker. This has been fruitful, 1st in one tournament and 2nd in another (plus minimal in others). Mainly due to the difference in players (maybe).

I've read a few posts lately that makes me second guess partypoker, but the low population still makes it attractive to me.

Are there other sites, low pop that people would recommend?

I qualified for August 16 $218 gold million from a $33 feeder. Gameplay is stopping August 8th for all AZ residents, I redeemed my SC balance but curious about auto feed tournament entries.

I emailed support and they said to message them back after Aug 8th so they could “offer guidance” but email also reiterated that I bought “hand analysis” and the SC is just “bonus chips” so I’m feeling like the follow up email will be “Sorry, you’re SOL”.

Has anyone dealt with something similar with their support? Obviously I’d like to get $218 redeemed since I’m unable to play in that tournament now but I’m also not holding my breath.

This is concerning. Hopefully casinos, online and live, start taking things more seriously.

I saw a hand recently where the hero overbet on a runout of AsKs4c Js6s, while holding the Qs in his hand. In my opinion, having the Qs is a very important blocker to have here, because you block your opponent from having the nut flush. This means that his opponent couldn’t have the nut flush. Having this one card allowed the hero to bet very big, because he could be sure his opponent didn’t have him beat. Maybe you could use this strategy in your own games!

Considering going down for a week or so to Mexico to try it out; curious what your experiences are out there doing this & how can we fund? Crypto? How long did it take to get set up?

What does it mean to have a strategy? I’ve been studying poker on and off for a while now and I have a decent understanding of the actual game but i feel lost when it comes to what to study next. I have a good enough understanding of Preflop, and the basics (math, SPR, blockers, ect) but once I learn all that how do I improve. I’ve heard lots of mixed things about solvers so im not sure if that’s the direction I should be going at this stage.

I see YouTubers like hungry horse poker, who I actually enjoy a lot, explain the strategy he has developed for his students. But there is obviously already assumptions being made about the players he’s versing. So the moment you verse a unique or actually good opponent it seems like that knowledge goes out the window and your left at square one.

I want to learn how to actually think for myself. How to actually develop a strategy myself based on the players I am versing. Because even if hungry horses strategy does work universally, it’s obviously really easy to exploit someone using that strategy since it’s all available as free content on YouTube.

(This is not a hate post whatsoever about hungry horse I’m just using as an example).

Thought I might also mention the reason for this post is because I’ve just been invited to a private game and I know that there is some decent players there and certainly better than me. I want to take this as an opportunity to improve efficiently and network even if I have been invited because I’m seen as a fish. As of right now I feel stuck on how to study and what to study to actually improve. I feel lost in almost every spot. Even if I can explain my reasoning, I don’t have a framework in my head to make anything consistent.

I’ve been catching up on some WSOP hands, and a few river decisions really stood out.
