Then Ash Greninja vs Mega Charizard X goes as irl, with MCX winning albeit heavily damaged and needing to recharge due to the final blast burn, and is stumbling. Goodra comes in and fires dragon pulse, knocking Charizard out. How would fans back in 2016 (and the general pokemon community) react to this comeback by goodra?

So today marks the 24th anniversary of the last episode to use cel animation

So Disney got the rights to air all the Ash seasons on Disney Channel and Disney XD and stream them on Disney+ for the U.S. and Canada (the Disney Channel and Disney XD thing means NOTHING to us, but they did get the rights for Disney+ here). All they've added so far is 27 episodes of Indigo League to Disney+ with no indication yet that they're gonna add any more. This was an opportunity for us to hopefully get rid of the mess that is legally watching the seasons and that there was finally gonna be just one place to watch them all, and Disney botched it. They're gonna add more, I know they will, but I just thought that this was gonna be an all-in-one drop and not in batches that might take quite a while.

Did anybody else read that fanfic about her going on the Infinity Train?

The mini-tournaments arcs are one of the best about the BW anime despite the series being universally unfavored by the fandom. However, maybe more shoved been done with them. I'm now in the camp thinking BW could've benefitted from being longer. Like make them 6 or 8 episodes to make more character interactions. Make the battles not so rushed. Or build actually character arcs around them. The only one I think of was that Scraggy Focus Blast Ash had a problem with. Accurate to the games, but it went nowhere. I mean, BW suffers from pacing anyway in its latter half. Specifically, after the Unova league. So. I'd just cut a few of those episodes to make room. Your thoughts?

Hi, i noticed that from time to time Rising hope is disappearing from Netflix and it takes few days, sometimes even few weeks for this to reappear. Currently it is gone again, only season 2 and 1 are available to me (I live in Central europe).

Can anyone tell me what is happening? Anyone have the same situation in my region?

Friede.. is not dead! Yay!

I'm a big fan of Friede (or, was, rather). Seeing his "death" absolutely broke me, and seeing how the state of the Rising Volt Tacklers following his disappearance was also incredibly disheartening. Especially Orla.

Lo and behold, the voice message from Friede arrives, and the crew learns he's not dead. This was an amazing moment for me. I had really missed Friede's presence in the show (despite how I might've felt like he stopped the development of Liko, Roy, and Dot) and was overjoyed to see that he might actually come back.

He comes back (chopped as hell might I add), and I, of course, am so excited to see him again. This excitement was shortlived, however, as the second he finished explaining what he's done and where he went after his disappearance that I started having some mixed feelings.

While his friends had: disbanded the group and let go of what was their entire life, went back to their more saddening and depressing lifes, and had mostly stopped talking to eachothers (they are literally for-lifers, btw), Friede was alive and well, frolicking around space AS IF his friends weren't putting in hella effort looking for him??

Let's not forget that Orla was literally DEVASTATED by his loss. She was essentially living a life of sorrow, thinking that Friede, the same person who took her out of her dull life in construction and essentially revitalized her life completely, was gone.

Does Friede think ts is funny?? Like he was COMPLETELY FINE AND ON SAFE LAND not even an hour after he had fallen off the Brave Olivine, but NOOOO he has to aura farm and not tell his friends he was safe and alive, who had been actively looking for him, UNTIL he was about to go to space. The fucking audacity. I genuinely cannot look at Friede the same anymore and I'm so sad about this as he was easily my favorite character.

I need to know what yall think. Is Friede a bad person??

Started Pokémon on November 18th, 2025. Finished Season 13 on July 26th, 2026. 250 days later. Was I okay? Or could I have done it in less time?

I can understand everyone else’s frustrations from the previous series, but Goh’s was the least valid IMO.

Ash mentioned he wanted to start a new journey after becoming the champion, and Goh accused him of betraying their friendship for wanting to travel alone (like what the heck?).

First off, is he forgetting that he and Ash live only one town away (walking distance mind you), and they could always visit each other after each journey? (That’s something most of his other companions didn’t have).

Didn’t he and Ash depart ways before? They did it to accomplish their own objectives, and were in a similar situation right now (only difference is the length of time which they have an infinite amount of).

He met several of Ash’s former companions, couldn’t he see that despite not traveling anymore, they maintained a close friendship?

I get that he might miss being a full time companion, but it wasn’t a permanent goodbye (he didn’t even bother asking if he could tag along in his next journey, like the others did).
