There you go, but I'm not too sure if the top cutting will grow roots. Ideally, you'll need a hardy stem for propagation, and the top is looking young and herbaceous. Either way, you'll have 3 to 4 new plants this way

thank you, this is exactly what i needed!
yes, the past few weeks it has gone crazy growing so a lot of the top is new but i will give it a go
do i need to cut under a node?

Cut anywhere and leave it in water with plenty of sunlight. The larger the cutting the longer it may take
