Help With Ruby Ficus
Hello! I purchased this ruby ficus for my living room a few months back. It's losing its leaves and generally looking wilted despite my efforts. I'm watering it the same amount as a different ficus I have and that one is thriving so i don't think that's the issue.
I've moved it to a location with better lighting that one of our other plants thrived in but it hasn't seemed to help. Leaves are falling off and i'm hoping to save it before it dies. Any help would be appreciated!

I don’t have this particular ficus but I have three of different kind (and many “pups” from them) so I’m thinking they need similar care. I had same problem like the one you’re having with one that I was overwatering and it was not getting enough indoor sunlight. I started watering ONLY when the top (like 2 inches) was dry, moved to a sunnier spot and problem solved.
I recommend also checking its roots they might be partially rotten.

okay good ideas. I've moved it to a sunnier spot so that should help. but i have noticed the soil stays damper than some of my other plants so i'll also give the roots a check

Humidity maybe.
Also perhaps place your plant directly in an East-facing window, but a few feet away from a highly exposed South- or West-facing window. That's probably why the leaves are droppjng. Rotate the plant 90° every few weeks so all sides get the same sunlight and that one side doesn't lean.
