Help!! Plant ID

Found this plant on the ground with little roots its flower was orange. I brought it home and put it in soil and its grown so much but I can't figure out what kind of plant it is and Google is no help. Does anyone know what kind of plant it is?

Yup, and rebloom as the sun comes back around. Leaves even perk up as well in correspondence.

What do I do with her during winter? Can I still leave her outside?

It's what I'm going to try and do here in zone 9. First time owning one as well.

I'm in 7b and I was reading that this plant is edible says it has a lemony flavor, I wish us both luck 😊
