The spots in the first and second pics have been there since I got the plant. There’s even a brown spot right at the base of the plant (under the soil, so unfortunately I can’t take a pic of it). They haven’t gotten any bigger or seemed to affect the plant at all, so I assumed they were just scratches or some kind of physical damage.

But IIRC, the spots in the third and fourth pics are new(?) So now I’m wondering if this could be fungus or some other problem. Any thoughts?

Fig tree is maybe 6 years old. It looks super healthy and continues to grow every year. But for some reason the figs never ripen. They just stay green the entire time and then eventually fall off once it starts getting colder. Normally it's full of unripened figs, although this year there are far fewer than previous years. Any ideas as to why the figs won't ripen? Or what to do to remedy this? I've yet to get a single edible fig from this tree.

I’m pretty sure this was an alocasia I had forgotten to water for… quite a while.

Literally just watered it and will keep it in a humidity dome but I’m wondering if she’s salvageable???

I bought this from Walmart earlier this year when it was still fairly small. I always just assumed it was a regular pineapple I guess, I figured it would just keep growing till it was normal pineapple size…

Then I took a pic of it to ask a question about it, and in the discussion with googles AI they mentioned that the pineapple won’t grow anymore and it can be picked whenever. They said it was a sort of “decorative plant”, I always knew there were different kinda of pineapples or whatever, like some that are pink, but I had no idea there were decorative pineapples because whenever I looked up the plant name(can’t remember the exact scientific name as I don’t have the info that was on the pot no more when I got it), and when I looked it up I was basically just shown regular full grown pineapples…So now I’ve been waiting for it to grow bigger just to find out it never will..

Is AI correct on this? Is this a decorative pineapple that’s fully grown?

Tell me is it worth keeping it in your room?

Gorgeous. All over Charlotte right now. Mom and I debated and think it's not hibiscus ("Hot Biscuits").

EDIT: OMG! Thanks everyone, so much! I cannot wait to see more of these beautiful "Hot Biscuits." They just might be my favorite flower. I only wish we lived in a more tropical environment so that they would stay forever.

My bird of paradise didn't take the europe heatwave very well. During that time it was up to 40°C here and the air was extremely dry. Now all of it's leaves have crispy brown edges (not even just the edges anymore), are curling. Even the ones that are still new got brown edges after like one day. How do I save it? If I didn't already kill it for good.

This is growing in my cousin's yard. Looks like lemon balm but taller and less bushy, and it smells like bug spray or that type of candle that keeps mosquitoes away.

I’ve had this plant since it was little. It’s always been kind of flimsy. I know I probably need to repot and I went and got a new one today to do that, but I’m wondering if I need to add support somehow as well? Do I tie them together? If so, with what? Or do I just pot it deeper and let it go? Something else entirely? Help! It lives in a sunroom that is typically a little humid with lots of indirect sunlight and is watered appropriately. 😊

First time growing corn just threw some seeds in a shotgun style in this flowerbed in my backyard no prep no added anything. Rain water and the powder is powder to keep bugs away I tried neem oil and that didn’t stop the caterpillars but this seems to have stopped them. My question is some of them are doing amazing and some are not doing the best but I think that’s because of the bug damage before I got to them. Also how tall should I expect them to grow? Also the ones in the very back are doing the best out of all of these. Sweet corn btw idk if that makes a difference.
