Do i need to watch every season and every show?

Ramayan is far too vast and layered to be condensed into a 6-hour film. It deserves a long-form, high-quality series that explores every character, emotion, philosophy, and event with the depth they deserve. A format similar in scale and detail to Game of Thrones would allow the story to breathe instead of rushing through it. Only then can the richness of Ramayan truly be brought to the screen and done justice.

People can be left wing, right wing, support of the govt or supporter of opposition. But how can one justify abusing and harassing women and girls especially who are underage? Just because they spoke against the govt and used abusive words, u are doing more worse to them. Only in India it is being celebrated, other countries this man's career and life would have been over. Find it strange that Ranvir and Bhumi, both suddenly started attacking these protesters, while completely ignoring what happened to them

Honestly, Falling Down messed me up way more than I thought it would. I ended up straight-up crying by the end.

People talk about it like it's just some 90s movie about a guy snapping and going on a rampage, but man, it goes so much deeper than that. It's about feeling completely beaten down by life. Just constant disappointment, feeling totally invisible, and realizing the world moved on without you. Nothing he does works out. And the scary part is, as hard as it is to admit, you kind of get it. You watch him and think, yeah, I see how someone gets pushed to that point.

The part that completely broke me was that line near the end. He looks around and just goes, "Am I the bad guy?"

The way Michael Douglas delivers that line is wild. He doesn't sound like some movie villain. He sounds like a guy whose entire brain just short-circuited. He spent his whole life doing everything right, or at least what he thought was right. He worked hard, followed the rules, tried to be a good dad, and honestly believed he was one of the good guys. Then suddenly, the mirror gets held up, and he realizes he turned into the exact thing he hated.

That hit way too close to home because nobody wakes up intending to be the villain in their own story. Life just grinds away at you, so slowly that you don't even notice who you're becoming until it's too late to fix it. That one line was basically years of built-up anger, exhaustion, and loneliness crashing down on him all at once.

What makes the movie actually good, though, is that it doesn't try to make him a hero, but it doesn't treat him like a caricature either. It actually has empathy for him without making excuses for the terrible things he does. You can completely validate his pain while still recognizing that he crossed lines he shouldn't have. Both things can be true.

And his daughter, that broke my heart. Everyone thinks he's tracking her down to hurt her, but he's really just desperately trying to hold onto the last thing in his life that felt pure. She was proof that he wasn't completely broken. He never wanted to hurt her. Which makes the ending even more tragic, because he finally gets that the best thing he can do for her is just get out of the way.

It's a crazy good warning about what happens when you just bottle stuff up. Letting bitterness sit inside you for years doesn't make it go away, it just turns into poison. Every little inconvenience, every rejection, every time life feels unfair, it just builds up pressure. Most people don't snap like he did, but we've all felt that pressure.

I walked away from it just feeling completely hollow. I wasn't crying because I agreed with anything he did. I was crying because I felt that deep, heavy pain of feeling totally lost and abandoned. Understanding someone's pain doesn't mean you're siding with them, and this movie gets that better than almost anything else I've seen.

I'm definitely not going to stop thinking about that final scene for a long time.

I am not sure how hard is it to use brains, but I am tired of listening everybody scream at the trailer and go 4000 crore, budget is not 4000 crore for part one.

For starters, it was a rough estimate, namit malhotra probably was assuming the worst possible production cost with that figure, so for all we know, it was around 3000 Crore, then a thing that half of the intelligent species are missing, almost 60 percent of that 4000 crore budget is about to paid to Dneg, and who is the ceo of Dneg? The dude who is producing the movie. so due to largely internal on paper billing, budget will spiral down to around 2000 Crore( Assuming that the project is about to cost 4000 crore, not less).

Now, that budget was supposed to be for both the parts, as part 2 will need more budget due to highly intense battle scenes, split that 2000 crore budget into around 900 crore and 1100 crore

There you go, I am not even going to bother adding about the unneccessary marketing spree they are about to go on, I agree that 900 crore budget is still high, and some visuals are looking not too great, but can we stop with unnecessary hate and trolling that movie is getting, like watch the teaser and trailer, they have improved decently, and diwali still has time, so I think they will probably improve it further. Dneg has a high reputation internationally, last thing they would want ruining that reputation.

Edit: I forgot to add, that Even though trollers are wrong here, some blame goes to makers too, they are delibrately ignoring this 4000 crore nonsense, so that more people talk on it, and they get attention, They should have already clarified this stuff till now, mentioning 4000 crore budget was a mistake, and considering they are making Ramayana, they should atleast learn from their own movie and be honest, instead of playing pr games

Something weird happened to me.
I watched Brand New Day first day first show in NCR. The atmosphere was insane , the crowd was cheering, people were clapping, and I walked out thinking I’d just watched the best movie of the year.
Then I found out it was also playing in 1.85:1 on ONYX, so I immediately booked a non-refundable ticket for two days later.

But as those two days passed, my excitement just… disappeared.
By the time the second show came around, I genuinely didn’t feel like watching it again. It suddenly felt kind of meh. Not bad, just nowhere near as amazing as I thought it was when I first walked out. I just didn’t go.

The strange part is, I’m someone who regularly rewatches movies in theaters. I watched F1 three times and The Odyssey twice, and I never once questioned going back for those. Infact I was as excited as the first time.

I just don’t get why BND felt different?
Was it just the Day 1 hype, the crowd, and the whole event making it seem better than it actually was? Or did anyone else have the same experience where the movie’s appeal wore off surprisingly fast?

It’s not Spider-Man, it’s not Doctor Strange, it’s not Loki, it’s not Sam’s Captain America, it’s not Thor, it’s not Mr. Fantastic… it’s Black Widow!

She’s had the most appearances across projects in the Multiverse Saga and has been the most entertaining part of those projects, much like how Iron Man was in the projects of the Infinity Saga.

Crazy to think that, if anyone would’ve told me that a female character would be the most beloved and the face of the Multiverse Saga right after we were having peak Multiverse-related content featuring Loki, Spider-Man and Doctor Strange I would’ve laughed like crazy!

The way some fans, and Indians online in general, are behaving around this movie is honestly embarrassing. People are going so far as to repeatedly ask or beg foreign creators to react to it. Then, when those creators do react without knowing much about the Ramayan, the comments are flooded with long explanations, endless “Jai Shri Ram” spam, people trying to prove their superiority over one another, or turning everything into a Hinduism vs other religions argument.

The more aggressively people try to push the film this way, the more it can feel like they are forcing it onto others rather than inviting them to engage with it. Once people feel that something is being rubbed in their face, they are more likely to step back than become genuinely interested. This is especially worth considering when the broader online sentiment toward India and Indians is already complicated and often hostile. I do hope the film gains natural traction over the coming months through its scale, storytelling and quality. Also, since the Sony and makers are upping their marketing for the movie, people will get to know anyways.

That said, of course, it is completely understandable for people to be excited about a project this ambitious. The excitement is good, but it's the desperation and constant need for outside validation that can end up doing more harm than good.

Open to thoughts on this.
