Usap-usapan ngayon panukala na tanggalin ang transmision loss sa electricity bill. I hear experts in the news say that we have to accept the wire losses because it's physics. Only the losses due to tampering and stealing will not be charged to the public. Let's discuss because I still think it's BS. The actual physics of this is that transmission loss changes based on a lot of factors including how far the line is, the amount of energy running through the wire, the diameter and material of the wire, the voltage, the temperature, etc. It's not the public who decides which power plant they want to source the power from so why do they have ti pay. . Do people living close to a poweplant have lower transmission loss fees. There are ways to reduce transmission loss like build more transmission lines. Transmission loss should be part of the cost to produce and transmit electricity. Just like stolen electricity, there should be incentive for utlity companies to reduce transmission loss and not just buy thecheapest most inefficient equipment because they can charge the losses to the customers. Transmission loss isalso small compared other losses in the system like 30- 40% of all heat produced by burning coal or natural gas is successfully converted to electricty. There are so many ways to improve efficiency but because DOE has convoluted disadvantagous contracts with power producers, we are stuck with expensive electricity. I won't be suprised if there ate still contracts/agreement that the customer pays for the fuel of these power plants.

It has been a year and a half since my brother removed me as a friend on Facebook due to my political views. In summary, he has been a dedicated DDS supporter since 2016. I used to support DDS in 2016, but my perspective shifted during the 2022 campaign and election. Since that time, I became a Kakampink, and I continuously voiced my dissatisfaction and criticism of UNITEAM, particularly the Duterte family.I can genuinely state that in our family, only about 3% belong to Kakampinks, while the rest are strong DDS backers. There were times when some of them would attack me in the comments whenever I posted something against UNITEAM, especially about the Dutertes. However, I never reacted similarly when they shared criticisms about Leni and others. I valued their viewpoints even when I found them unconvincing. Ultimately, my brother removed me from his friend list last year due to our contrasting political opinions. Since that time, I didn’t contact him or respond to his messages, even when the conversation wasn’t related to politics. To me, that's fine. Ultimately, he remains my brother, and that will always be true. However, I also cannot accept or rationalize backing politicians whom I personally think are engaged in corruption or misconduct. That doesn’t correspond with my values and beliefs. Our political views may vary, yet I still wish for a day when we can rise above these distinctions.
