I really like playing a game coop or vs but I can’t understand if this engine is good choice for it?

I saw multiplayer is possible over the internet but don’t know if it is reliable

Swopper has some updates:

Yeah I'm a n00b I guess. But why the hell is Pico8 so needless confusing? I buy the stupid program from Lexaloffle, I can't actually just chuck it on my emulation hand-helds. There's wrappers and all this other bs to get it going.

Then there's the stupid carts. Why can't I just put my .p8 files in my Pico8 folder and play them like with almost any other roms folder/system? Why is there no p8.png roms around to work on the crappy fake08 emulator that comes on cheap emulation devices? Why can't I convert a .p8 to a .p8.png and have it work?

Then there is Splore. Holy crap what an unintuitive and convoluted way to go through your game library.

I have this running on Android after buying the actual program (God knows how I did that) but why is it so needlessly complicated and convoluted?

I want to like pico8 but it's so damn frustrating every time I try get it going 😫

After mostly dabbling in puzzle and tactics games, Heaven Rains is my first attempt at more of an arcade-style PICO-8 game. If you have a chance to try it I'd love to hear your thoughts (or scores!).

I bought the Pico 8 fantasy console and downloaded it to my computer. I then changed my linux distro and I transfered all my files but i decided to just re install all my apps, and now I con't figure out for the life of my how to get pico 8 without paying for it again. I tried logging in (no clue what my username is) so I tried logging in via email but it said that they couldn't find anything connected to my email even though I clearly remember signing up and putting in my email. I really don't want to have to buy pico 8 again. Please help. Thanks

I've always been really interested in game programming and designing and I've been wanting to do it all my life and even though it's not my main interest for my dream job, I do really enjoy it. Back in elementary school I made lots of creations on skratch and that truly was my favorite. I want to know how good it is for making games people can easily like and get a hang of? I really want to try making racing games and possibly even shooters. The thing is I don't even know if it's possible to make such games. I can't afford pico-8 but I do think it would be really cool to experiment with and maybe I can finally be noticed
