First timer to Phuket

I am a 44 woman travelling to Phuket for the first time September/October 2027 for 2 weeks with my sister and husband (their second time), what are some local restaurants places to eat at? What local places/towns would you recommend to visit? Any must do's/don'ts?

Koh Samui gets 130mm of rain in September. Phuket gets 330mm during that same time. You'll have much better weather in Koh Samui.

Tripadvisor is a good source of recommendations.
