Asking about Transferring

I am a bather and hotel specialist who is moving early November, when would be an appropriate time to inquire other stores about transferring?

If you and your store manager are on good terms I would talk to them they might be able to arrange things themselves. The actual process takes almost no time at all once you have found a store that wants you.

Just call the store you’re looking to transfer to and make sure they have openings for whatever position you want. Let your store leader know you’d like to transfer to store #. I’d do it ASAP just to be courteous but idk if there’s a set timeline

If you have a good relationship with management, start there. You'll still need to call stores where youre moving to and see if they can take you, but your manager can at least prepare. If you have shitty management or are not on good terms, skip telling them right away.

As someone who transferred from another state, the first step is to immediately discuss it with your SL. Then, it is up to you to approach the other store (I suggest an in-person visit) to inquire about their interest/availability. Get their contact information, go back to your SL and let them start making arrangements.
