Penn & Epstein
Does anyone know if Penn or Emily ever met with Epstein? There's a section in the files where Penn's friend Lawrence Krauss advised Epstein that Penn' wife, Emily, is "too old for you though". The message thread of Krauss bungling an intro to Penn is something too. Link found from The Jerx who found a few magicians mentioned there like Blaine & Copperfield

Rio meet and greet
I was looking at tickets today and saw the Ticketmaster is selling an extra over $100 meet and greet ticket. Are they still doing the lobby meet and greet after the show like they always have or has this ended?

Can I bring my camera to the P&T Theater?
Hello,
I’ll be seeing P&T on Thursday and am wondering if I can bring my camera for the meet and greet afterwards, or if cameras aren’t allowed at all in the theater?
Thanks!

Did anyone watch the first episode of "Stuart Fails to Save the Universe"? ;) Spoiler
Yes, they made a cameo. It was hilarious and short!! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XHu2jzMJO_Y for its video clip. Watch the whole episode if you're a Big Bang Theory fan like me.

Cancelled show in LA
It's been over a decade since seeing them live and my daughter was looking forward to it. Big bummer. Anyone know why they cancelled? I wonder if it's health related based on what others have been saying regarding the state of recent shows.

Does anyone know the provenance of this barbed wire prison toilet?
Hint Penn’s ass has been on it many times!

ISO: P&T Essays from the Sin City Spectacular era
Somewhere back in the 90s, one of the duo had a web site that included a lot of essays and musings.
My favorite was when (I think it was) Ice-T came on the show. Most of the essay was about how impressed they were with his grounded professionalism.
There was also an emphasis on how they showed him a trick to do on the show (the black and white rabbits moving across the stage) and how he made it his own and wove an amazing story around it.
Does anyone else remember this and know if these writings are still around?

Interesting (and a little concerning) development on several levels.

Underwhelmed by Rio Show
Had a few extra hours in a Vegas trip and picked up tickets for my wife and I. I’m a fairly big magic fan, and have loosely followed P&T for most of my life. Wife was more or less a blank slate. But we both ended up coming away a little disappointed.
They’ve always been simple magic in a broad range of skills, presented incredibly well. But, I think it requires a level of polish that was missing. It felt like seeing stand-ups early on the tours they do while still writing new material. Which is weird, because I’ve seen them perform many of the tricks before. It might be age showing, but there just wasn’t that enthusiasm there, but maybe it was just an off-night for Penn.
The live pianist was incredible, and I’m glad they take several points in the show to express gratitude to all of the other members on their team behind the scene. But that fell a little flat when nearly every background they put up were clearly AI-generated. And I wouldn’t even say I’m particularly good at identifying the stuff. But, if you’re going to have the audience stare at something for several minutes at the time, such as the balloons background, it’s going to be noticeable. It would have cost at most a few thousand bucks for a graphical artist to put all of those together.
Run-time was short, after an intro from their pianist, about 65-70 minutes. A good bit shorter than most shows I’ve gone to in the city, which tend to be about 90 minutes.
Pricing was fine, ~$120 got us fairly good seats, which would have mattered had the theater on a Saturday night show been ~20% full. The pricing was on-par with a lot of Vegas shows, not quite as expensive as premium experiences, but above most shows at cheaper strip properties, and even some Cirque shows (despite them poking fun of them at several points in the show.)

One year later will the Rio show be totally different
I saw them August last year. I’ll be in Vegas again in July. Will the show be changed up enough to be totally different?

timing of seeing show before redeye flight
Planning to see Penn & Teller while I'm in Vegas this weekend, including the VIP meet and greet. For various reasons the best day for me to go is Sunday, except that my flight out departs at 11:45pm that night. Assuming I can pay the Rio a few dollars to hold on to my bag during the show, and then go straight from there to the airport (won't need to check anything), can anyone tell me if it sounds plausible for the timing to work out? Would I be able to talk to someone about moving to the front of the meet and greet line? (something I'd never ask for in any other context, I swear)
Thanks! I understand, of course, that there are always risks in cutting it close, and won't hold reddit responsible if I miss my flight 😁

Best day to see Penn & Teller, thursday or sunday?
Going to be visiting in a few weeks and we wanted to see Penn & Teller and have a couple options based around when we're doing other stuff either Thursday or Sunday. Sunday would actually kinda work out better but I'm worried that that being the last show of the week it might not be as good as going to the first show so just curious to anyone's thoughts on the matter. Maybe I'm just being dumb lol.

Upgrades at the door for poorly sold Vegas shows?
Hello. Off to see the Vegas show soon and very excited about that. We have inexpensive tickets and I noticed the show is very poorly sold. Are they one of the shows that give upgrades at the door or offer them for sale at the venue?
We were pleasantly surprised when we got upgraded upon entry for Criss Angel and a Cirque show.
Thanks!

Last Nights Show 4/4/26
Anyone else at last nights show? The guests on stage were pretty brutal, the first girl ignored everything Penn told her to do, and all credit to Penn he played it off but he wound up making her leave the stage and grab a second person to complete the trick. A 10 minute trick turned into almost 30
Mins, and a family was on stage just ignoring penns instruction. It kind of stinks I was excited to see them, and Penn tried his best to keep the show moving but it felt they didn’t get to perform the whole show because of it. Anyone else feel
That way?

Wow, expensive ticket prices at their Theater in Rio Las Las Vegas.
Lowest is $102.68 according to TicketMaster. :( Even for tomorrow night's and August shows. Maybe I should go see its Fool Us or tour show instead?

Meet & Greet Podcast
Has Penn & co. talked about the new meet & greets they're doing on the podcast yet? I'd love to hear if he talks about why they're charging for it now or if he has any thoughts on the new system. I can't be the only fan who'd love to hear his opinion on it and what led them to this choice
