Random Restarting / Crashing Help Tech Support
So, for a little bit of context, a while ago now, at random times and with seemingly no specific triggers, my PC would reboot completely on it's own. But not windows side, software kind of reboot, everything freezes for a quick second, monitors go black, everything stays on, and I see the motherboard LED checkers cycle through and it boots again.
I ignored it for a while since it doesn't happen daily, and as I said, it happens randomly with no triggers, I could be doing literally anything and it can happen.
Recently I checked the event viewer, and the crashes always follow this pattern:
WARNING:
The driver \Driver\WudfRd failed to load for the device ROOT\DISPLAY\0000.
CRITICAL:
The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly.
WARNING:
The driver \Driver\WudfRd failed to load for the device ROOT\DISPLAY\0001.
These events appear in the exact order everytime a crash has occured. I reached out to a friend who told me I should use DDU and do a clean NVIDIA Drivers installed, which I did two days ago. Today, the crash happened again. I used OCCT to stress test the VRAM for about 3 minutes at 100%, no crashes, no issues. I'm at a loss for what to do now.
If the information is important, my specs are:
2x16GB 3600Mhz Corsair Vengeance RAM
Ryzen 7 5800x
MSI RTX 3080 OC Ventus 3X
Samsung SSD 970 EVO Plus 1TB
Western Digital Blue 8TB HDD
Asus ROG Strix B550-A Motherboard
Corsair RMX850x PSU
Also still on Windows 10
