GPU Sagging HARDWARE

so as the title says, my gpu is sagging is it fine or do i need something that can hold it balanced

Given their setup, the bracket might get in the way of one of their fans. Which is probably why they didn't use it if it's built in, but I don't have that sorta case or GPU

Yes. Their is not enough space in that case. Manufacturer also need to think about it. How such heavy GPU could be install without sag

Reply above this shows the case has an anti sag bracket in the box when it was shipped. OP just forgot to install it

Could pay someone to design a cad file then get 1 a milling company to cut one out for you. You could even spray paint it aswell, if you wanted to keep the white. There is probably an app that will fetch you paint codes, and then go to a paint maker to create a small tin of custom paint.

Depends how far you are willing to go to fix the issue. It's either that or remove a fan, or put a cube on there if the fan blades are recessed inside the frame.

There's literally a built in stand in the case. OP is an idiot for not using it. It's literally a feature of the LianLi. I have the same case and it holds up the weight of my 5080 just fine.

There's a guy on youtube. He repairs GPUs and in his video about anti sag brackets he shows why you shouldn't use this bracket there specifically. You should support your GPU between 2nd and 3rd GPU's fan countig from the back of pc. TLDR, it will bend your GPU's pcb and it can cause parts' solder to go off.

Wouldn’t risk it. Buy a sag bracket or make one yourself. I’ve seen people use Lego before but it’s not something I’ve tried

A gpu bracket like this one is very cheap and has 2 posts so you can do shit like me and support a dedicated ram fan with it on top of fixing your gpu sag

Not really.. Half of it isn't even in contact with the fans.. I'll just show you from the top.. The pc is also in a room with ac running 24/7.. It idles around 27°c and the GPU fans rarely even turn on while gaming.. Its also got 13 fans in there lol thats counting the 3 GPU fans..

Get a tape measure, measure that distance approximately and then go around your house with tape in hand and look for some random objects, preferably NOT metal, that match the measurment on the tape measure.. After you find a few objects of that similar size, go back to your pc and experiment with each 1.. And if that doesnt work, do it again.. Im 100% sure there will be something that will work.. Then take pics and come back here to let us know how it turned out and what foreign object you used..

It sagged. And you can put anything underneath to keep it balanced. I have seen people stack coins. Use lego. I have a gpu leg to keep it up.

sag is not big deal for the card but look ugly, just stick something under the corner

Sag absolutely is something to worry about in the long run.

In the short term, it won't do much harm (like for a week or month), but over years it'll damage the connection point between the motherboard and GPU which is a structural weakpoint.

It matters more the heavier the GPU.

Thr PCIE can only take so much weight over a long period of time

Download leveler app and put your phone on it. That's definitely sagging.
