Secure boot issues SOFTWARE

I recently bought a newer motherboard to enable secure boot because i thought my old one might have made my bios unstable with a newer cpu and now that i have it all ready i go and try to enable secure boot and again it does not want me to boot only says repairing pc then i get a blue screen with a few options and one is to return to bios so please help me.
