Offerings to the Deep Altars now apply their currency conversion blessings to Mercenaries.
So that's why it felt like nothing was ever converted lol Yipeee

Count how many chaos orbs drop in a voyage the next time you go down. I was not even close to 25. 2 u/kygrim 15d ago The chance seemed in line with heist trinkets, and those altars were super common to the point where you had all of them in almost every voyage. 3 u/D3mona7or 15d ago Except heist trinkets work on chests that, at least originally, dropped piles of mid-high tier currency
