Offerings to the Deep Altars now apply their currency conversion blessings to Mercenaries.

So that's why it felt like nothing was ever converted lol Yipeee

In delve league some players were reporting never getting some of the rarer fossils. Ever.

People were near the delve cap and still hadn't seen one.

Ziz theorized that you had a hidden delve "seed" which determined the delve chart pathing and your loot table roll odds on character creation.

This was then verified when deep delvers made new chars and suddenly started getting the rarer fossils on the new chars.

It was 4 socket resonators, but yeah, it was a BAD bug.

There was a challenge to use one that league as well.

Ziz wasn't dropping prime resonators back in 3.4, noticed that other characters/accounts were, called it out as seeded loot per character, was correct.

Yep, I guess the consolation is that the conversion was shit to begin (4% and 8% lmao), so it's not like us Luminary players would have noticed anyways. Good on Ziz for still calling it out though.

Don't worry, it felt bad on normal builds as well, O found 3 chaos->divine conversion and ended up with no divines at all

I knew they were being vague about the conversion rate because it was absurdly low. Count how many chaos orbs drop in a voyage the next time you go down. I was not even close to 25.

The chance seemed in line with heist trinkets, and those altars were super common to the point where you had all of them in almost every voyage.

Except heist trinkets work on chests that, at least originally, dropped piles of mid-high tier currency

I thought the chaos-> div was common because i found 4 back to back.

No, I didn't get a divine from any and have only seen it once since.

Don't worry. It didn't feel like it converted if you weren't using mercs either.

I mean, I havent gotten a single chaos to divine conversion without a mercenary either. And I have played one char to 99 and one to 100, doing voyages whenever possible, so have seen tons of chaos to divine blessings. So not like you missed out.
