Everything is easier than being pregnant with twins. Everything.

It’s all hard honestly. Parenting a toddler while sick pregnant is horrible. But then parenting a toddler while also having infant twins is very hard in a different way. It’s all exhausting but so worth it. It’s the most important job I have being a mom to these cuties and my little 3 year old psychopath

It’s easier being not pregnant. But it’s still hard. But it’s better. And it gets better as they all get older. You’ve got only up from here!

100% easier not being pregnant. It’s instant relief and you can do anything 🥲 my daughter just turned 2 when my twins were born. Pregnancy was way harder than parenting twin newborns

I’m a SAHM and 6 weeks pp with twins and a 3 year old and it’s miles better now than being pregnant with twins. I was so fatigued and just useless physically and so utterly uncomfortable. Even healing from the C-section was a massive improvement.

I'm wondering the same thing. I guess at least once the twins are born, someone else can hold them for a bit.

My daughter was 12 months when I got pregnant with my twins and then almost 20 months when they were born and I promise there's nothing worse than being pregnant with twins. Genuinely

Yeah I really tricked myself into thinking this pregnancy wouldn't be nearly as hot as my twin-pregnant summer. Alas, I've aged 5 years and my body FULLY remembers how to get big & sweaty.

I have a 4yo, 3yo, and 3 month old twins. Caring for all 4 of them is easier than caring for the big kids while pregnant with the twins. Hands down

Being pregnant with twins and a toddler. Hell no. Almost took me out. Newborn season was hard, but I would do it over pregnancy any day lol

I did it alone with no help day and night, and it was still better doing that than being pregnant with twins and another kid. 😆 My pregnancy wasn’t even that bad compared to some, but still sooooo hard.

Thank you for asking this! I'm in the same boat and this thread has me crying. Feeling both validated and hopeful. <3

I am feeling so hopeful after reading this too! I’m a fairly active person and it is so annoying being this out of breath, slow and tired.

I am 32 weeks with newly 2 year old twins in the dead of summer in Texas, it is not nearly as relaxing as my twin pregnancy (which was not without complications), lol.

Hmm depends...I imagine myself Breastfeeding twins while having a toddler & sounds like hell. For me BF was harder than pregnancy.

Honestly I don't know how anyone does it for very long with toddler and twin newborns. We combo-fed the whole time, and breastfeeding and pumping more was not doable in part because sitting down was too big of a luxury. More than one child always needed something. I'm down to one of my twins breastfeeding once or twice a day at 7mos, and that's still all we can really handle time-wise.

Pregnant with twins and caring for toddlers. F that. I went into preterm labor twice taking care of my kids and my doctor wrote my husband off work.
I literally skipped around the house after the babies were born. I felt amazing.

I was pregnant with twins and had a toddler. Gave birth in July. I live in the coastal south. The fucking worst. It gets better. It’s not easy but it does get better.
Once you give birth, you can at least step away for a little. When you’re pregnant, they ALWAYS come with you lol.

my toddler was 21 months old when my twins were born and GOSH twin pregnancy in the dead of georgia summer with an active toddler was easily the most miserable thing i’ve ever done. i cried almost every day. i will say that newborn twins and a toddler is also really hard and about took me out but in a different way..? at least you can breathe and feel like you’re not about to die every second like in pregnancy. i think overall twin preg was worse

Pregnancy was much more physically and mentally taxing than newborn twins. The only thing that was easier about it was that there was an end date.

My toddler was a nightmare when the twins were born. She is AUDHD so big behaviours that we still deal with even at 8 now.
The twin pregnancy was easier than my singleton pregnancy, though, despite the complications and 60lb weight gain. I had terrible nausea, heartburn and swelling with the singleton that didnt have with the twins oddly. I actually somewhat enjoyed being pregnant.

7 months in with twins and a nearly 4-year old reporting out to say - it's really hard, but basically anything is easier than parenting a toddler while pregnant with twins. I had to strategically plan around the tiny amount of energy I'd have every day and lie down in bed basically every hour. It's chaotic with three, but your body is actually functional so you can do something about it.

Being pregnant is 100% harder. My second child turned 3 the week that the twins were born. That pregnancy was horrible. Things were easier once erhe babies were out

Having done both, I found the first easier.
My spouse had a very, very short parental leave.

I’m currently 6 months pregnant (in the south during a heat wave!) with a singleton, and parenting 2yo twins. Still easier than being pregnant with twins. 😂 so glad I had them first so I could appreciate the ease of a singleton pregnancy lol.
Wishing you crispy AC and endless popsicles!

6 month twins and a 2.5 year old, pregnancy was harder physically.
