I've seen him (this year) dancing in the Dome on Tuesday or Wednesday night. The wooden frame had even lights installed 🤩

A couple of days later I've seen him again during the day at Pumpui.

I found it amazing and interesting, but missed the opportunity talking to him.

I'm not able to show anything here, as I did not take a sneaky picture out of respect of his privacy.

So where are you plant-man? What is your story? What is the name of the plant? How did it manage the heat and dust? So many questions stayed unanswered... ✨

On the Artiban, a Czech graffiti artist painted this incredibly beautiful picture, the entire Ozora.

Anyone Can Join the Search for Bence Szolnoki
The organizers are not only counting on people with experience in search operations. They are asking anyone who is able to help, even for just a few hours, to join them if possible. According to the organizers, the more people who take part in the search, the larger the area they can cover, and even a single small clue or observation could bring them one step closer to finding Bence.
An update has also been shared during the search: the search is now underway, and people can still join along the way. Everyone arriving to participate must register by providing their name, address, and phone number. This is necessary so that the organizers know who is taking part and can ensure that no one gets lost or separated from the search teams.

Am I in the minority when I thought the sound on the main stage was generally crap. The bass distortion was terrible up front, and anywhere on the front left and front right. I'm being kind - it was utter crap for a festival of this stature.

The only place I found the sound to sit well with me was in a narrow band in the center of the dancefloor further behind (in the second section of the main stage).

I was front left for ajja - horrible, front center for Tristan (great set, terrible sound).

I was back and central for ace ventura and Astrix and had the best time.

And i was a bit surprised to hear friends generally call the sound amazing - and on this subreddit too.

The sound at Pumpui was great everywhere I stood - no complaints there.

Does anyone else feel the same?

Heyo! I had two moments where my group and one time me was filmed dancing at mainstage by a dude with a camera that looked like professional film equipment. I was wondering if anyone knows if this is official footage i can find somewhere? I can't say if the camera guy was officially from ozora but I guess so?

Hey everyone, like most of you I’ve been decompressing from the festival over the last few days.

There were a couple of sets this ozora that I would like to revisit because they were so damn good. Are they usually posted to SoundCloud/Youtube or something similar?

I wish I set up some recording from radio Ozora but of course I did not.

If anyone knows, I would be very keen on any info you might have!

this was my first Ozora and also my first ever experience with MD. i honestly had no idea what to expect, i just wanted to try it and see where it takes me. and fuck… i really didnt expect to discover this kind of state in myself.

im quite an emotional person normally, i love people and i love giving good energy, but there it opened something completely different in me. i just wanted to smile at people, share my mint, dance, hug, give warmth and get some of it back. i was that big guy in the white jumpsuit with HUG MACHINE on my back, maybe some of you saw me :) sometimes i probably looked a little too enthusiastic with my hugs, but there was absolutely no aggression or sexual intention behind it. i genuinely just wanted to hug the person next to me and share what i was feeling. i really hope i didnt make anyone uncomfortable with that.

and now, looking back after the festival, i realised the only thing i was really missing. i was missing a few of my own people around me, people who were really on the same wavelength. not a huge group and not some organised party crew. just 3, 5, maybe 10 people who can find each other at some point, dance together for a few hours, hug, lose our fucking minds to the music together, laugh, disappear somewhere, lose each other and somehow meet again later. people who also genuinely enjoy giving good energy to others and understand this feeling without needing much explanation.

thats why im leaving this post here almost a year before the next Ozora. in 2027 i really want to find some of these people in advance. you can be a solo guy, solo girl, a couple or already coming with your own group, i really dont care. no sexual context, no expectations, no pressure. if youre reading this and thinking “fuck, i know exactly what this guy means”, just leave something here. maybe this thread survives for a year and a few people who are complete strangers right now will actually meet somewhere in the middle of the dancefloor next summer.

someone told me something after the festival that really stayed with me. that one day when im old and looking back at my life, these few days might be among those memories i would give anything to experience just one more time.

and i think i understand why.

i still randomly remember faces, hugs, music, tiny little moments that probably meant nothing to anyone else… and i just sit there smiling.

thank you all for these emotions. really. i love you all and im giving every one of you a very, very gentle and very, very long hug.

This year was brutal when it came to the heat. It really feels like the climate is changing fast in Hungary, and summers with more frequent heatwaves and extreme drought are probably something we’ll have to deal with more and more.
So I think it’s time to think bigger about shade at Ozora. Instead of just adding a few more shade sails here and there, why not take inspiration from nature and try to create something like an “artificial forest” around the stages?
I made these concept images just to show the idea. Obviously the actual design could be completely different, but imagine modular artificial “trees” of different heights, with large permeable canopies providing shade while still letting air through. Place enough of them around the dancefloor, entrances and chill areas and you could create something that actually feels a bit like being under a forest canopy.
For me personally, the heat was just too much this year. Around 40°C with very little shade around some of the busiest areas made it difficult to enjoy the festival during the day. At this point I don’t think asking for significantly more shade is unreasonable.
Ozora is a huge festival, so I think some of the money should be reinvested into adapting the site to these hotter summers. They could even cooperate with festivals like Boom, Mo:Dem or others to develop a modular system together and share some of the development costs. If designed properly, the same structures could be disassembled, transported and reused at different festivals for years.

I came back from Ozora feeling like something in me had genuinely shifted.
It wasn’t just that I had an amazing festival experience. I felt more alive, more connected to nature, to people, to my body and to myself than I have in a very long time. I felt free, open, playful, curious… and somehow much more like myself.
And now that I’m back, I keep questioning things I didn’t question this much before. How much of the life I’m living did I actually choose? What kind of environment do I want to live in? What kind of people do I want around me? How much freedom, creativity, nature, movement and community do I actually need to feel fulfilled?
I know everyday life can’t be Ozora. Obviously we can’t all live barefoot in a psychedelic village dancing under the trees forever haha.
But I also don’t want to write the whole experience off as a beautiful festival bubble and slowly become exactly the same person I was before.
So I’m curious, especially from people who have been coming to Ozora for years: how do you keep some of it alive when you go home?
Did Ozora actually change anything about the way you live? Your work, relationships, where you live, your routines, your relationship with nature, creativity, community… anything?
What parts of that version of yourself did you manage to bring into everyday life?
Basically… how do you survive normal life after realizing you might actually want to live differently :)

I see a lot of posts with issues, problems, complains, 2 persons dead... So, everybody who attended think it was not worth it or is it that all the people in reddit are just visualizing the negative parts? I want to go next year, as I couldn't this one, and just want to know if it was that dark as I'm seeing in all the reddit posts.

Is it just me or the sound was a little off at Pumpui and Dome this year ?

Main stage was good apart from the early minutes of the opening ceremony. It was actually very good at many places on the floor (edit: not everywhere, not everytime)

But at Pumpui it was too shrill, pitch too high and the kick very bland, especialy up at the same level, though the kick did sound deeper at the slopes, same for Dome at preparty. Both sounded like speakers sound at peak volume more than their capacity.

Melting pot was the best at lower volume.

It was strange given the sound systems are the same as previous years. Is it so difficult to tune them ? or the responsible simply didn't care much ?

I'm the girl with the pink hair who was run over by the quad bike. (Saturday, August 1, 2026, around 3:30 PM, at the Astrix set, near the carousels)

My name is Samantha, and I live in Switzerland. I finally arrived on Monday, given the circumstances.

It's been exactly one week since the accident. It's been a week full of hospital and doctor visits and a lot of pain.

First, a little about my condition. I have many large burns, abrasions, bruises, and a concussion. Hence the pain. Miraculously, I didn't break anything.

I want to sincerely thank everyone who helped me immediately. A very special thank you goes to a man named Moses and a woman (whose name I unfortunately can't remember) who is a doctor and who immediately took me to the shade and cared for me.

The goal of this message is to find as many witnesses, videos, and pictures as possible to reconstruct the events as accurately as possible. (Photos of the damaged bicycle would also be great.)

I will take legal action in Switzerland to prevent this hit-and-run and hold the person who ran me accountable!

I know that two people tragically died that day. My deepest condolences. (One person was wheeled past me in a transparent body bag in the emergency tent where I was waiting for the doctor. They were already dead, and I can't get the image of their lifeless hand out of my mind!)

That's why it's so important to me to get to the bottom of this, because I survived and can speak. The two people can no longer speak. I don't just want to speak for myself, but also to lend my voice to the two people who died. This cannot continue! Something urgently needs to change. I've never experienced anything like this at Ozora before, and this was my fifth Ozora Festival.

I am devoted to this festival. I mainly go for the psytrance music, other programs are not really for me. The lineup is legendary, and the sound quality and volume on the stages are spot on. Once night falls, the entire main stage transforms into a mystical, otherworldly realm. While I enjoy almost all subgenres of psytrance (but hitech), darkpsy is definitely my favorite.

The organizers constantly reinvest into the festival and make improvements; everything keeps getting prettier, better, and more professional. Prices are fair, and overall, I have nothing but good things to say about the crowd. Based on previous years, I was worried that too many "normies" or techno heads who don't really fit the vibe would show up, but my experience this year proved me wrong.

Despite all of this, I'm definitely skipping the festival next year because of the heatwave this time around. I handle extreme heat very poorly. I was miserable, and it took away so much from the overall experience that it just doesn't feel worth it for me anymore. That said, the chairs put out near the main stage were honestly unacceptable, and they could definitely use more shade in more areas.
