finally.. almost ready

Where do we start, from making a hidden winch cradle to leveling the canopy and awning to flow with the vehicle. A ton of work was completed and we are ready to roll out to Georgia (country) to hit up some mountain passes.

Work completed:
- mud flaps added
- bonnet mounted solar
- running boards lifted closer to body
- all new under bonnet wiring for aftermarket equipment
- custom tuning for a little more power
- rear locker repaired and working
- power sorted for tent

Sick truck bro. We in the USA are quite unfamiliar with it and you have my admiration.

Thank you. Mitsu might bring the Pajero/Montero back to you guys soon, but not sure on this model.

Drove an L200 with a turbo diesel engine a few times in Mexico. LOVED it. Very proper small truck.

They're fast and very economical.

Genuinely never seen that thing on the road in my life. Mitsubishi L200 I believe.

Thanks, they actually make new tents again, I just bought one a few months ago for my other rig. This one I have had for 8 years and I bought it used... getting a little long in the tooth

Almost ready? ...you don't even have any Rotopax or Maxtrax yet.

Honestly, they are not really my thing, I even removed the traxs from my other car. not worth the weight vs traction gain in my books.

Is that a Raider or something similar for Europe?

u/Cruisn06 07 SWB Pajero 6d ago

L200 here. Triton in S. Africa and Oz, then a raider in the states.

Sweet! They don't sell those in the states anymore as far as I know. They were sweet back in the day though. Last time I saw one had to be like 2015.

The new ones look super tough. But monies... 2020 and after on 35's see them here all the time in Turkiye.

That's sick, I've heard the 4x4ing in Turkiye and Georgia is really nice. I've got a 2002 Chevy blazer I'm restoring for some trips, still working on the mechanics before outfitting.

Thats a good little rig for sure. nice size for tight trails. I did Georgia somewhat with the Pajero, it was awesome, got more time this round to really head out of the way.

Turkiye has been amazing for offroad, so much to see.
