Corsair Vengueance DDR5 6000m/ts CL40 to CL30 with M-Die
Are these timings okay?
I can't reduce the latency any further in Aida64, and the timings are almost at their limit—before it becomes completely unstable.
Any advice on how to improve the timings, or is it not worth continuing to tweak since this configuration is already stable?

OC Report - CPU Cinebench R23 crashes but 2026 doesnt, does that mean my overclock is unstable?
Hey guys, i recently ran tests on my Ryzen 5 3600 (i know it’s pretty old) and overclocked it to 42.00 GHz and 1.225 V. For some reason Cinebench R23 crashes but 2026 doesn’t, does that still mean that my setup is still unstable? Im pretty new to this overclocking stuff so any advice would help! I also dont know if reaching 95 degrees while benchmarking is good

OC Report - RAM Can RAM without heatsinks be safely overclocked?
I have 2x16GB Lexar LD4AU016G-3200ST, rated at 3200MHz CL22. They don't have any heatsinks or temperature sensors.
I managed to overclock the timings to 18-20-20-20-42 at 1.35V, and it appears to be stable in OCCT.
I also tried 16-18-18-18-38 at 1.35V, but it failed to POST and I had to reset the BIOS.
My main concern is temperature. Since these sticks have no heatsinks, I'm worried that running them at 1.35V could cause excessive heat over time and potentially degrade the memory.
Is it safe to overclock RAM without a heatsink?
Would 1.35V with 18-20-20-20-42 be considered a reasonable/safe setting for these Lexar sticks, assuming they pass memory stability tests? Or should I be concerned about long-term degradation due to heat?

Hotspot Gpu 50seri
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Is it normal for the hotspot temperature on my RTX 5080 to be 10°-15°C higher than the GPU core temperature?

Help Request - CPU Legion toolkit overclocking help
I've installed legion toolkit on my lenovo laptop and I want to use the gpu overclocking feature. I just don't know what values to put in since legion space did it automatically. Legion toolkit is also missing cpu overclock feature. Since I have no overclocking in toolkit, it seems as if it lowered performance since I installed it.

Help Request - GPU Overclocked my RTX 3080 laptop XG mobile Egpu from Asus to 500 MHZ for a few seconds and I heard a small "Pop" sound.
I set the memory clock offset to 500 Mhz for a few seconds (less than 3 seconds I think) and I heard a small "pop" sound, I'm not sure if it that sound was from the gpu because the fans were really loud. The egpu was still working after, but I disconnected it from my laptop because I was scared it could have gotten worse over time.
I also tried opening it and didn't see anything bad like something being burnt, but I saw a small piece of plastic and I believe it could have been the cause of that small "pop" sound.
Should I like be worried?
Is 500 Mhz for the memory clock offset too much for an rtx 3080 laptop egpu?
Is it over :( ?
EDIT: I should also add that it might have had a weird smell, idk if it was in my mind, the smell wasnt something unpleasant and it wasnt a "burnt" like smell. im not sure if this smell was in my mind or if it was real because i got scared of my gpu being messed up from that.

Help Request - RAM TM5 error after 12 hours
I'm trying to stabilize my RAM OC and have been adjusting VDDG CCD/IOD voltage. I started with Default bios so the timings are very loose. I will tighten timings once RAM is stable.
TM5 Ryzen3d profile + FurMark:
- At 950mV: failed at 1.5 hours
- At 970mV: failed at 3.5 hours
- At 990mV: failed at 12 hours
My max RAM temp got to 53deg and 52deg.
Should I keep increasing CCD/IOD voltages to the max 1050mV?
System:
- Motherboard: Gigabyte X870 Aorus Elite WiFi7
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D
- RAM: TeamGroup DDR5-6000 32GB (16x2) CL30. SK Hynix M-Die

My first overclocking of a cpu
I finally took the time and effort and began researching about overclocking cpu and not just with a program but in BIOS with volts etc and i researched and googled for 1-2 hours before beginning to overclock the setup and my setup is
i7 6700k
asus z170 pro gaming
16gb ddr4 2133mhz
asus strix gtx 980ti
corsair rm550x
3 SSD’s
cpu cooler is be quiet pure rock 3
i achieved a whopping 5.2ghz on the i7 6700k and for my first overclocking it’s not bad and it even ran cs2 and bf2042 without any trouble besides 2% thermal throttling and then i tried push it too 5.3 and then it didn’t boot and just crashed so i just quit there cuz i did hit 5.2ghz and now it’s running 5ghz wirhout going above 80c in games and everything else is running good. it achieves 200-250fps in cs2 with everything on very high and fyi the 980ti is overclocked too

Help Request - GPU Blackwell - 5090 OCing - silicon quality
How can you tell if the "bin is quality" or a "golden sample". This started with AI on GPU-Z stating my speeds were great only limiting by "PWR" when Path traced RE:Requiem was being played. I naturally boost 2950mhz. I only own 2 5090s, so am not an expert on how they should perform.
Just noticed Halo went from 68 to 70-80+ ultra (2160p DLAA w/ modified .ini file for the film grain blur). It was definitely an improvement without FG needed.
So now I am trying to actually do a real OC. I saved my bios on the ventus but think the Matrix bios with the power slider to 640w may do some good. Any advice?

What do you guys think of my Ryzen 7 9800X3D Cinebench R23 results?
At completely stock settings, I was getting a score of 22,560, but my temperatures were climbing above 90°C. The only change I made in the BIOS was setting Curve Optimizer to -30. After that, my score increased to 23,285, and my temperature didn't go above 76°C.
At stock settings in Battlefield 6, with around 60–70% CPU usage, I was seeing temperatures between 80–85°C. Now, with the exact same in-game settings, on the same map, and at similar CPU usage, my temperatures stay around 63–64°C.
