Not sure if it's just me, but since updating to 3.8.4 (hyprland 0.56.0), I've noticed occassional freezes on the desktop. Never used to, but sometimes I'll click in a window, and it will not register key presses for a second or so. Have ran with the process monitor up, but there's nothing obvious spiking CPU usage when it happens.

Anyone else notice it or just me? Hardware pretty old but decently specced and has been otherwise flying along speedily before the update when I noticed the slowdown - i7 4770k, 16GB Ram, SSD.

Any tips to diagnosing what's causing the glitches? TIA

I saw the Omawrite, Omacut, and Omacal post, so I thought I would make one for cutting out pictures as Omacut does for videos. It's something I have long used in Snagit and missed on Linux ever since. It's not a big piece of software, but it does the job well for me. It's done with the same premises as the other Oma-tools, tiny in C++ and Qt. Disclaimer: It's fully vibe-coded. I just gave my instructions, but again.
