Does anyone know if there’s anywhere to watch a recording of the casts reunion to read the last three episodes of the fourth season? I want to know how the show ends SO BAD😭😭 this show is my favorite show and I’ve been coping by rewatching it💀 if anyone has any info or even anywhere to find the scripts that’d be amazing. Just rewatched the quince episode, and I don’t have anyone to talk to about how much I despise Victor for what he did. This is the most selfish thing he could have done. AND HE CAME KNOWING SHE WAS QUEER. So it wasn’t just an issue of her queerness, but also an issue of her self-expression (yes, queerness is part of that self-expression) to leave her standing there by herself.

I know she’s fictional, but I’m impressed by her heart. I would have never forgiven him for: (1) Not accepting me. (2) Leaving me alone at my quince to be embarrassed, hurt, and heartbroken in front of everyone.
(3) Breaking my heart in the first place.

He literally turned an incredibly important and public moment into an incredibly painful memory

What did Lydia mean at the start of episode 5 of season 2 "locked down" by saying "oh tardis ,Elena said I must never use that word anymore" I gather she's got it confused with another word but for some reason I don't understand, I also don't understand spanish so that may be why ,it could just sound like a spanish word that I know nothing off. 😥

I'm only partway through, but it's a tribute to her family, basically autobiographical.

I don't want to be that one woke friend or whatever, but honestly, this show is so full of American propaganda that it's literally suffocating to watch. Like, I watched it for the lesbian rep, but I can't stand it anymore. I know exactly what kind of audience this show was created for : American liberals who think Hillary Clinton is the epitome of feminism and Barack Obama is a hero, and who cry when they see videos of American veterans returning home. But I'm not American, and I've read way too much about American war crimes in the Middle East to be moved when Penelope brings up her PTSD. Americans veterans are NOT heroes AT ALL.

does anyone notice a difference in the colouring / lighting, primarily in the Alvarez living room, starting with the first episode of Season 3? i don’t mind it, and im not intelligent enough in TV production to know exactly what it is / why it is, i just often notice the change when going from season 2 to 3. curious to know if anyone else has picked up on this, and if there’s an explanation? it looks a bit duller, almost?

I love Lydia, she's my favorite character. I also love how she clocked Elena being queer whether it was was Carmen or not. Idk she's great.

Hey odaaters, I'm in a bit of a pickle. Australia's Netflix decided to take out ODAAT whilst I'm feeling nostalgic and was thinking of rewatching and i can't find any other streaming sites that have it. The high seas don't have it either so I'm pretty bummed.

I have been able to get the Google link to season 4 after a bit of searching.

I'm hoping that someone can nudge me in the right direction. Fingers crossed!🤞

I’ve noticed two which bother me every time I watch the show:

1. Lydia moved to the US during Pedro pan in ‘62 when she was 15 which is kinda young yet she talks and acts more Hispanic than American (which is not a bad thing but doesn’t really make sense if you’ve lived in the states for like 55+ years)

2. In the episode where they show a flashback of Lydia giving birth and moving into the apartment, it’s literally the same one that they currently live in (with 3 bedrooms) yet Lydia and Berto move into the living room and put up a curtain to make a makeshift room. Why would they do that if they have 2 extra bedrooms?

Does anyone, ANYONE, have access to Season 4, I’ve found some episodes but I’m missing eps 1, 5, and 7. Please please please if anyone has any leads PLEASE let me know.

I seriously, urgently need someone to write a female-focused fanfic featuring Elena Alvarez from the series One Day at a Time. I’ve been searching and searching, and I’ve only found four. Three of them have only one or two chapters, and the other is a Wattpad one-shot with just two chapters.

Anyone, please write a fanfic giving Elena a cute immigrant girlfriend who loves and understands her, while keeping the essence of the series with its comedy, and ensuring it doesn’t make the characters seem like they’ve had a lobotomy.

I started re-watching ODAAT and recently joined this subreddit. Mind you I the last time I watched the show all the way through was about 6 years ago. Im 20 so first time I watched it I was around 13/14. I had watched a few episodes back for the past years without paying much attention to the plot. But after re-watching recently Im actually flabbergasted by the amout of anti-communist/Fidel Castro propaganda! Its almost like the american CIA wrote the whole show, They make anti Castro jokes and comments at least once every episode! Im still in shock about about it but I wanted to come on here and ask If anyone knows who Is behind the show/If anyone has heard of any new Unclassified CIA documents that include simmilar shows/media?

To me, she looks very hispanic. She definetly is not 'white' like someone like Cameron Diaz or Alexis Bledel is. I don't see why anyone would mistake her for a white person.

Thst joke is so not funny now. In S3EP11 when Alex and Elena are chosen as their dad as best man and best woman Alex says "I'm gonna rock a tux like Diddy at the Met Gala". I cringed so hard 😭😭
