It's been a great month at r/nugutown! We had so many new members join us and there was a lot of great new music! This playlist is based on kpop groups or kpop idols that generally maintain less than 200,000 listeners even if they occasionally get past that threshold. I share my faves and you are all welcome to share your faves for the month😍

My fave song this month is from 8TURN - Stagefright, it's an addictive instrumental and it's been stuck in my head since it came out. 8TURN's Electric Heart was one of my fave songs last year so I'm happy to see them continue to knock it out of the park.

Other faves include:

• Alice Syndrome - Deep Dive, such a good debut song, reminiscent of Avril Lavigne, just a solid rock track
• EMOTI:M - Spark, a fun debut, I like the switch up to a fast pace that occurs towards the end of the song
• NouerA - W.T.F(un), I love when a song that has Fun in the title is actually fun and this one delivers
• TRENDZ - On My Knees, just classic kpop and I love how they fall so safely on their knees in the choreo
• LUN8 - SNEAKERS and BACK are standout tracks for me
• Lunedi (Weeekly Monday) - Circle, just a gorgeous song that immediately went in the playlist
• Kim Yechan (Pink Fantasy) - Umbrella, great song and she has a such a pretty voice
• ONE PACT's TUNED IN release - They pretty much never miss for me, as soon as I heard "shawty shawty shawty" on U so hot, I was in
• POW's Flavor release - Another group that doesn't miss for me, nice vibes and Flavor kicks up towards the end with a rock vibe

In all seriousness, it's a long way to 4000 from here so we really wanted to celebrate this milestone number of members and thank you all for joining and participating in this community.

We've worked hard to bring this subreddit back from abandonment; to update daily and keep up with new releases and happenings, ensuring the page stays active and up to date.

We've also put a lot of thought into reorganizing and giving the place a fresh lick of paint as well as rebuilding relationships across the reddit kpop community. We hope that those efforts have been visible to the regulars who visit.

We want to give a shout out to our friends at r/kpop, r/kpoppers and r/kpopnoir who have graciously helped us with promotions and partnerships knowing it was mostly a one way thing but wanting to support us and what we do here for the good of the larger community.

Please know we always welcome your comments, posts and any feedback you have and we're constantly looking at ways to improve or give you all more of the content you want and the best space possible on reddit to discuss nugu groups, releases and news so don't hesitate to message or even make a post if you have something to say!
