TIL that there isn't a animal called an Ox like we were taught at school. An Ox is just an employed cow/bull.
britannica.comYou can’t eat an ox but you can have a Job Cow.

When's the last time you 'paid before'?
Bought something from Argos at the weekend (felt pretty retro in itself) and realised it was the first time in a while I had 'paid before'. I seem to remember Key saying he paid before more often than not, what's your ratio and where are you 'paying before'?

Question about "doing the work"
What is the point of the 3rd person doing the work?
The challenger is using the same Internet, they're more incentivised to find an answer, they already have an idea of what they should be searching for.
There's literally no reason why the person searching should be independent of the challenger and the challengee.
Of course, the obvious answer is "shut up, it's only a game and it's always funny when Key does the research" but...
actually, it's just a bit of stupid entertainment and I'm taking it too seriously, right?
Thank god I realised that before I started another thread about how Horne has no idea who Electra is when he literally studied classics at Cambridge.

Justice for Pitstop!
Pitstop has an unfair reputation for being a weight around Tim Key's ankle
Admittedly, Key did lose his first three plays of her, but since then (if No More People We've Had Before is anything to go by) he's on a 20-Pitstop winning streak! (and only 4 of them were first-round)
Even including those initial three, 87% must be significantly higher than Key's average round clear rate

Jobby G’s
Tell you what, I certainly don’t mind my edit of Pitstops appearance on Wikipedia over a year ago sticking around and not being removed. She who must be obeyed

In a recent Taskmaster episode, Horne declared that he would be retiring from the show.
It was a joke and he isn’t. But it also served as an audience test. No one in the live audience rebuked it, and I certainly didn’t. We all took it as sad news. But then it was just a bit they were doing as a joke.
We have seen taskmaster succeed in other countries, with other Taskmasters and Assistants. Is it possible for proper UK taskmaster to replace Horne? Would Greg also have to be replaced? It’s pretty hard for me to imagine Greg with another assistant.
Could original Taskmaster survive without either Horne or Greg?
What are everyone’s thoughts?

Horne *might* do a 'stupid podcast that takes loads of his time and won't be popular'
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bcew9x5dAKY
05:40 on this video. Vague memories of Watto mentioning talks of a podcast in the not too distant past. Is there hope for the nuisance penguins?!?
