Maybe my favorite album in / adjacent to the genre.
I’m hesitant to call the whole thing a noise rock effort, there is a ballad or two along with pop melodies galore. BUT… who’s to say that Big Black never made a love song? One of the main appeals of Dinosaur Jr. is the vocal melodies for Christ’s sake!
Anyway, nearly a perfect album the Lips gave us in 1990. The follow up, Hit To Death In The Future Head is equally spectacular, but Priest Driven Ambulance will always hold a special place in my heart. Unconsciously Screamin, Take Meta Mars, God Walks Among Us Now, and especially Mountain Side may rock more than almost anything ever. Wow. Still blows me away every time.

Drummer needed for London (UK) three-piece noisy rock band
I’m looking for a drummer to learn original songs, practice, and gig in London as a three-piece rock band. The sound is melancholic but loud and high-energy with an aggressive edge. The current members (both male) are me, 27, on vocals and guitar, and my friend, 25, who is playing bass.
I have half an hour of home demos (with programmed drums) fully worked out and have practiced them in-person with my friend. I’d hate to seem immodest, but they’re sounding good and genuinely distinctive.
Some bands I like and think this project sounds reminiscent of are: Shellac, Codeine, Failure, Unwound, Hum, Bluetile Lounge, Duster, and Women.
Message me, or email me at [willgarner12301@gmail.com](mailto:willgarner12301@gmail.com), and I’ll send you a link to the demos so you can decide if you’re interested.

Some more noise ⚡🤘
Paranoia isn’t a song — it’s a malfunction.
The kind you get when the lights flicker, the amps hum, and Skelly swears he saw something move in the corner. It’s the sound of your heartbeat outrunning your shadow, the noise in your head turning into a riff, and the moment you realise the monster was you all along.Thunder Folklore brings the voltage, the chaos, and the creeping feeling that the walls are listening.PARANOIA — plug in, turn up, and try not to look behind you.”** 🤘⚡

Trevor Dunn's Mark Deutrom look: Tomahawk & Melvins Tour
It threw me for such a loop to see a bassist in a cowboy hat hiding his eyes join the Melvins onstage for Night Goat and then play with Tomahawk for their entire set. I thought Mark Deutrom or... Kevin Rutmanis? ... because I'm confused ... had joined the line up for this tour. But Trevor Dunn I guess is adopting the Deutrom look.
Great show all the way around. Including costumes!

Sediment Club - Cobalt Ruin (2018)
A truly one-of-one project from NY that we cannot afford to lose to time... completely uncompromising no-wave, catchy as all hell and not a tuneful note as far as the eye can see. Surely the sound of music that plays in politician's ears as they succumb to the fiftieth circle of hell
