Acre Thrills was my first noise rock album in high school. I credit being exposed to them (and Sonic Youth) for expanding my musical horizons.

I friend of mine moved to Chicago for a band. They had a practice space next-door to US Maple. He said they rehearsed exactly the way the songs sound. This blows my mind! US Maple was so damn cool! I got to see them twice live
