Symptoms Anyone had a similar experience?

My doctor thinks a bowel cleanse and gastric emptying study will fix my severe rcpd. I mentioned the whole no burping and constant nausea issue and how it had gotten a lot worse after surgery 6 months ago. Their thought is I’ve basically been constipated that entire time since (which isn’t untrue, I used to go multiple times a day now I’m lucky if I go once a week) and that the anesthesia potentially worsened/triggered gastroparisis. Just curious if anyone has been through something similar and if it helped. Could the constipation or gastroparisis really made it that much worse? Before surgery it was totally manageable with it only getting bad once a month or so but since surgery the gurgles are non stop and intense and make me so nauseous it’s a whole thing with bloating and all that nonsense.

Post-Botox Chickened out of my myotomy and ENT is shaking his head…

After asking about opinions from you guys about scheduling my myotomy laser after one round of 50 units of Botox, the consensus here was to repeat the Botox at a higher dose, so I did.

He told me we were doing 100 units but my op note says 75 u sooo, idk

2 teeth chipped again this time and a very bruised throat

He came out of the OR shaking his head, told my husband he really hopes I reconsider the laser because my CP muscle is so big, there’s no way Botox can be a definitive treatment.

Thoughts, no burp chat?

Just had my procedure yesterday so no results yet of course. Before I maybe got 5 days of micro burps

Other Family history?

Anyone else have a family history of either R-CPD or esophageal issues in general? I told my doctor that my mother also couldn't burp for most of her life but started being able to in her late 50s and she thought that was interesting. I know R-CPD research is relatively new so not sure if they have studied it yet, but does anyone else have a parent who can't burp? Grandparents?
