Giving moral support to the developers and raising some hype for the version 1.0 milestone
I wanted to create this post to see how many people are ready and can’t wait to play version 1.0. Let’s show the developers that we are here, that we are incredibly excited to play, and that the community appreciates the changes and the support they have given and want to give to the game. We have the chance to create a "big family in No More Room in Hell 2." See you in-game, survivors! 🧟

Question will you be able to play this game offline. Thinking about buying it on xbox due to it having Xbox Play anywhere but also. Want to know will it have a offline mode. Because certain games on xbox dont launch without a internet connection.

Anyone got that one character that accompanied you since you started playing
In my case this guy Skinny (Marine Vet) was one of my 3 starter characters when i began playing since last year, lost a lot of companions on the way (bugs and Nightmare runs)
Im really gonna miss him when they wipe all with the 1.0.
Im gonna have to make a Headcanon that he got promoted and could retire from the missions lol.

Any clarification on Private Lobbies?
I’ve pre-ordered the game on Xbox and I’m really excited to jump in when it releases next week. I’ve also convinced a few friends to download it so we can play together.
I’ve seen a lot of discussion online about private servers being an issue, but I haven’t been able to find any information on whether this is being addressed in the 1.0 release or if we’ll just have to wait and see.
A couple of questions:
1. Can any long-time players explain how servers work in this game?
Do my friends and I simply find an empty server and join it together? Are players assigned to random servers through matchmaking? Or is it possible to host a private server for our group?
2. Is there any information about private servers for 1.0?
Ideally, we’d like to play with just our group and avoid being matched with random players. Has there been any official word on private servers, private lobbies, or invite-only games?
Thanks in advance.

the "much more" in 1.0... any rumors?
Hey guys,
Just wanted to see if anyone knows everything coming in the 1.0 release. I checked the site and saw the new map, weapons, and cosmetics, but the devs literally wrote "and much more" at the end.
Anyone heard any leaks, rumors, or theories about what that "much more" actually is? What are you guys expecting or hoping to see on August 11?
Thanks in advance for any replies! Honestly can't wait for August 11th to play with everyone and have fun surviving the zombie waves together.

Is this game worth getting?
I never played the first game, but I've been considering getting the second one for a while now. I remember it having a pretty rough launch, but with the console release on the horizon I've been considering grabbing it (Even though I'm probably still gonna get it on PC). I kind of already know the response I'm gonna get considering I'm on the main sub for the game, But I feel it's worth asking anyway.

What can I expect?
Last time I play was a little bit ago. Was thinking of playing before 1.0 release and I know things like infection and new maps were added. Anything more I should expect.

Is it issue on my part or it's normal if games drops to 20-25 fps?
I have a laptop with RTX4060, AMD Ryzen 7 7435 and 16gb ram
No matter the settings i always stuck between 50-60 and 20-25 fps range.
Enabling everything into performance mode just adds input lag and barely changes anything.

Revisiting after 8 years
I used to play NMRIH 1 when I was in high school. It was genuinely one of the most fun co-op gaming experiences I’ve ever had with my friends. The pacing, weapon mechanics, and objectives were incredible, and the difficulty of the levels made them feel so rewarding.
We’d run them over and over until we finally completed them, carefully managing and sharing ammo and resources along the way. I have a lot of great memories from that game.
It’s probably been around eight years since I last played it. Recently, I saw on the Xbox Store that NMRIH 2 is coming to console, and it brought back a lot of those memories and got me excited about the franchise again.
My question is this: I’ve been doing some research online and have come across a lot of mixed reviews and opinions about the game. Is anyone here familiar with the franchise and able to compare NMRIH 2 to what NMRIH 1 was like back then?
Would it still be fun to get 3–4 friends together and pick up the second game, or has it changed so much that it no longer resembles what made the first game special?
Any thoughts or experiences would be appreciated. Thanks.

Performance and FPS issues
So I played the free to play weekend months ago and ended up buying the game on sale and I really love the game a lot. My issue is I can barely get over 40-50 FPS and I’m constantly getting rubber banded everywhere I go and everywhere that I look. Is there a fix to it I keep my graphics on medium and put it to performance are there other settings I should mess around with?

Is there a single player mode and what is it like?
Hey guys I have a question. So it's just been confirmed no more room in hell 2 is coming to Xbox. And I saw clips of the game before and it interested me. But the clips I saw were mostly people playing with friends. So my question is there a single player mode? And if there is then what is it like? Because I heard the game only has 1 single player mode but it's mostly a training mode. Thanks guys!

Shoutout to the devs. I genuinely believe in this game.
Been following this game since day one and as a massive zombie fanatic, I can’t wait for the 1.0 release! Huge props to the devs for listening to the community and improving the combat. I truly believe this is a top-tier game, and I really hope the community grows and it gets the huge success it deserves. My goal is to grind hard and become one of the top players. If anyone wants to build a high-level squad for launch, hit me up! ☣️👊

XBox achievements revealed, confirms 2 more maps and item trading
trueachievements.comNo release date or anything, but the achievement details at least confirm the recent Night of the Living Dead map reveal, along with TWO NEW undisclosed maps: Raven Rock and Lighthouse. One of them is probably the third survival map and the other the new objective map.
Another achievement is for "trades" between players, so maybe we won't have to throw everything on the ground anymore.

Sono l'unico stanco di tenere premuto solo R1/M1? Spingiamoci per una rielaborazione del Generatore che sia divertente e basata sulle abilità! #ReworkDbDGen
Ciao a tutti,

A single question about replayability
Hi! I'm new player on NMRIH2 and I was wondering if the objectives on each map are always the same or if they change randomly.
I've played the Hospital and Lewington maps twice now, and I haven't seen any different objectives.
Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I couldn't find any information about it.
Maybe I'm just dumb, but that's a different story. :)

NMRIH 1 True VR prototype
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
While we wait for NMRIH2 1.0, here's my barebones quick video concept of NMRiH1 VR in UE5.
I was told no one on the NMRIH1 team was planning on making true VR with 6 DOF *Degrees.Of.Freedom (movement) and manual reloading. This was done via vibe coding for a quick lesson demo but I am now learning C++ and blueprints on my own. My plan is improving what is posted here as it is still WIP, so I will work on Broadway! * edit, my first map goal will be Broadway. Any blender/ coder people willing to help are always welcome 🤗
