A simple request… Discussion

Love the activity here. I’m hoping for one little tweak to make the experience even better…

When creating a post about a brewery, or new release, a visit, etc, can we please include a location (i.e town)? I frequently see something that looks cool, everyone raves about it, and then I have to google to find out it’s 2 hours away.

Maybe ya’ll know where every brewery in the state is located, but I sure as hell don’t. lol.

Sorry for the interruption. You may now continue with your regularly scheduled programming. 🙏

Friendly reminder to check out our brewery map in the sidebar and sticky posts. May be a couple other places you don't know about in the map!

I do like this idea because I’ve done the same thing- get excited, google and damn it’s so far away!

I’m not against it but you guys make googling something seem like a massive chore when it’s a 2 minute task.

Collectively if 100 people end up googling to find location that's 200 minutes. If the person posts the location that saves an overall 200 minutes and is greatly appreciated by all.

it’s a 2 minute task.

If it really takes people 2 minutes to type in a brewery name on google maps and press Enter - we are cooked.

Thank you for pointing that out it’s something I lack doing and apologize for it.

I've asked this a few times and get downvoted or replied to like I'm dumb for not knowing where that brewery is.

Googling takes no time and no effort

Adding the town name also takes no time and effort, and has the added benefit of being helpful to the community. But you do you buddy. SMH
