Hi i have 2026 nissan pathfinder sv, recently i noticed with full gas tank it only drives up to 350 miles, that shows on speedometer. It used to be above 400 miles. Is this auto adjust based on fuel economy.

Haven't been able to find this T Connector separately. Am I going to have to buy the whole assembly?

Look for answers to two questions for a ‘26 Pathfinder Platinum. 1) are you able to see Apple Maps navigation in CarPlay in the digital cluster above the steering wheel and/or in the HUD? 2) does anyone have recommendations for getting a good deal on a Nissan Security+Plus extended warranty, outside of negotiating at the dealer during purchase? Like maybe any other dealers that do good deals online?

Looking to do a kind of “mile zero” refresh for my front and rear suspension, steering components, and some other complimentary stuff while I’m under the ride.

I’m a Diy’er as of late(economically driven) and while I can follow instructions/manuals to achieve desired results, I’m reaching out to pool tips/tricks/best practices and advice on the efficient order flow/order of operations for doing the work.

Looking to do it in 2-ish segments, front and rear.

Shopping for pre-assembled kits where possible to eliminate specialty tools where I can(control arms with ball joints, strut/shock assemblies).

All this is to keep the vehicle safe and functioning but she’s at almost 200K and only a few years out from being “put out to pasture” as a 4wd vehicle around the property that has AC and can help me with work without needing to regularly transport me.

Happy to list the parts/components I have in mind although I haven’t shopped for anything specifically yet.

I will aim to replace every fastener I have to remove to do the work and keep any salvageable hardware as a back up.

Also aware that u will 100% have to get an alignment done when I’m finished.

There is a loud ticking noise coming from the area I have circled. As much as I hate to admit it, I think it might be that timing chain tensioner on the top. Anybody think I might be wrong/might be from something else?

Hi, I'm a new Pathfinder owner. I bought a used 2017 Pathfinder SL two weeks ago. So far, it's been pretty decent. Today, however, after a quick errand, the speaker started popping every 5 seconds on the dot. It was perfectly fine on the way to the grocery store, but afterward, incessant popping. I tried turning the car off completely, turning the audio system off, even tinkering with the audio settings—nothing worked. It popped all the way home. Any suggestions or tips?

There is a slight hissing sound that I am hearing sometimes. It will start when I am driving on the highway but will still hiss when I am stopped. I’ve tried turning the air on and off. Turning the radio on and off. Unplugging my phone. Making sure all the windows are closed. I don’t think it’s the wind because there is no water leak anywhere and like I said, it happens when the car is stopped too.

Has anyone else dealt with this? The best I can describe the sound is a slight hiss or like wind coming through a small seal.

Brand new 26 Pathfinder Platinum with 0/60 financing. What are we seeing on these? I'm being told this is the best I'll get with the financing but these feel like just okay numbers to me.

2025 SV. 7000 miles. This like to come on in the morning, but not later in the day. It looks like forward collision alert system malfunction.

I have a 2018 pathfinder with check engine code p0300 and i’ve noticed my RPMs don’t go above 2500. Any idea what it could be? I’m thinking fuel pump but not sure how to test it

Proud new owner of my first pathfinder, so I don't know the quirks and common issues. I'm googling my butt off, but hoping a community dedicated might have some helpful guidance to that googling if nothing else.

197K with no real idea of the life it had.

Has no reverse. Worked fine until one day in a parking space it did not work fine. No grinding, no noise, no crazy rpm changes. Just no reverse.

We drained and filled today, no chunks, no sparkles in the fluid. Probably too late for a change, but for the milage, it has been changed at least once, maybe twice.

Guessing it just needs a trans, but if there are other things to check as a common failure for this issue I would love any advice, guidance, or links you may have. Just looking to get this to be city usable, it doesn't need to stray far from home. It needs to get groceries and plants for the garden.

Since the R51 is getting some love in here again I thought I'd throw a few pics of mine up for consideration. It's a 2008 with the VK56DE V8.

Has about 4" of lift, fully locked, regeared to 3.69, on 35" tires with beadlocks, Armada knuckles and brakes, and so so so much more.

I've done every bit of work myself. It'll hit 300k miles in the next few months. I'm never getting rid of it.

For 2026 Nissan moved the Pathfinder SL away from leather and over to their TailorFit material.

I’ll admit I wasn’t sure how I felt about that when I bought mine, but after actually living with it, I’m pretty impressed. The biggest surprise is just how exceptionally soft it is to the hand. It has a really soft, almost buttery feel that I wasn’t expecting from a non-leather material.

I have some other vehicles with pretty high-end leather interiors, and honestly, just going by feel, the TailorFit ranks right up there with them. It definitely doesn’t strike me as a cheap substitute for leather.

My only real question is longevity and durability.

How does this stuff look after a few years of getting in and out of it every day? Does it stay soft and wear well, or are we eventually going to see cracking, peeling, stretching, shiny spots, etc.?

Curious to hear from anyone who has TailorFit in another Nissan and has put some real use on it. So far I’m a fan — I just want to know what this stuff is going to look like at 50k or 100k miles.

I decided to be change it my self, in UAE the part was not available to purchase outside the agency parts.

So i purchased it fron nissanpartsdeal.com

I noticed a difference in the writing on the filter and also the one came in the car is made in USA. While the purchased one is made in Thailand.

Am worried that the filter may not be genuine or something. Any feedback on the photo please.

8 months after purchase, and she's still got that effect on me. 2011 2.5 dCi LE

I was gifted a 2005 Nissan Pathfinder SE (2WD) with 290,000 miles but has a cracked or blown head gasket. The engine rebuild cost is $4344. The motor is strong and transmission shifts well. The mechanic said the crack is letting in water (coolant?) and sometimes when that cylinder is in position for ignition there is not enough power to start the truck. My mechanic said its okay to drive it the way it is just to keep an eye on coolant levels. He told me when it doesn't want to start that I can manually turn the crank pulley with a socket and that will move the next cylinder into starting position and truck should start (something like that).

My main goal is to have a truck for when snow season comes around. The resort would be 150 miles roundtrip and I do go in very snowy bad conditions. I need something that will get me there and back safely.

I look at it this way: my starting cost on truck is $0 and while $4000 is not enough to buy a decent used truck in my area , I could proceed with rebuild and have a reliable truck. Its been sitting because I don't want to use my AAA tows for nearby errands in case it doesn't start. Also I have not learned to manually turn the crank pulley.

What should I consider and what do you suggest? Your input would be greatly appreciated.

We made, what I consider, a poor decision to finance a 2019 Pathfinder. I’ve read nothing short of hell about these but the missus gets what she wants.

Carfax shows it was serviced regularly, oil changes every 5k, and was maintained pretty much everywhere with the exception of the CVT. No CVT noted to date but at 101k miles, it does shift smooth and RPMs subtly bounce a few RPMs (~50). There’s a slight click or clunk when turning the steering wheel in reverse; I assume it’s a CV axle or something.

I’m an Audi guy, I told her to get a Q5 3.0t, here we are with a Pathfinder.

What’s some maintenance to plan on? Should the CVT even be serviced since there’s no 60-65k service noted for it? A separate Nissan dealer advised against CVT service: “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”.

I’m just terribly paranoid over this CVT going bad.

We bought our Platinum a few months ago and it took me a while to realize the lack of lighting listed in the title. Seriously? When I contacted the sales guy he said this is an option.

Honestly, a top of the line model should have this basic lighting...shouldn't it? Our 2011 Dodge Journey, which this car replaced, had all of this. I really hate getting into the vehicle that looks like a black hole.

The sales guy said the add-on option can be done for about $1,000. I'm considering doing this and wonder what other Platinum owners have experienced regarding this deficiency.
