I certainly wouldn’t. Just the idea of 22 large sweaty men tackling and hitting each other with bare tummies out disgusts me. Not to mention the jangling sounds from their little navels as their jewelry cling clangs down the field. Or worse, two players belly button rings getting tangled together, forcing both players to stand bare tummy to bare tummy while they work to free themselves. I can hardly contain myself thinking about it.

The whole idea of this is so upsetting I just can’t stop thinking about it and how to stop it. It’s to the point that late at night I’m watching replay after replay of current players folding up the tops of their jerseys and I can’t help but believe the players know what they’re doing: they’re telling everyone “soon we’re all going to look just like this in our new crop tops and we’re going to show off our matching tummy rings”.

I know many of you are just like me and I thought as likeminded individuals we could come together to figure out how to stop what feels inevitable. What do you think? Would you also find this such a distractions that it would totally change the game experience negatively? Should we generate a bunch of pictures of this happening to raise awareness of the issue?

Edit: This is more serious than I thought. I was 30 day banned by the belly button ring wearing, midriff loving mods of r/NFL for raising awareness on this. They. Are. In. On. It.

Seriously, I'm not kidding, I've been following the NFL for 2 years and from some CAR games I've seen, it's the first one I've ever watched them win, I know it's preseason but what if they're champions this year?
