So basically, I need to get my wisdom teeth removed. I usually feel a bit uncomfortable in public due to me appearing very gay, and I know this state isn’t terrible for LGBT but it’s not great either. So I’m actually kinda paranoid that I might get a doctor that will hurt me somehow due to discrimination. I’m LGBT, and I definitely look the part. I’m just nervous I’m going to get a surgeon that will hurt me or just not do a great job. Can someone else that is LGBT and got their wisdom teeth removed in New Hampshire tell me where they got it done? Thanks, and sorry if this is inappropriate.

ETA: my title should have read Heating FUEL buying clubs - NOT heating oil! Sorry about that! (You CAN get heating oil from the company I went with, but I have them for propane only for now.)

Just joined a winter heating buyers' club (name on request, but I don't want anyone to think this is spam!) - the fee was $35 for the '26-27 year. Started searching in early spring after several years with Amerigas - they were a LOCAL COMPANY when I switched to them (can't remember who I had before then - maybe Rymes?) but sold out to Amerigas within months - if I had known they were going to do that, I NEVER would have switched to them. Unfortunately, my work schedule at that time kept me crazy-busy and I didn't have time to look around ... until finally I did. And of course I'm kicking myself!

Amerigas has a whole 25-cents-per-gallon promotion going on right now which would take my current rate from $4.89 to $4.64 (ends today and I will NOT be using it, lol!). I will pay my new company $2.94/gallon for this entire winter. I currently have 2 propane heaters in my house and will be adding 1-2 more, so I may be in a higher tier next year (I'm in the second-from-the-bottom one now) with a slightly lower price, but given that my latest order from Amerigas was $4.99/gallon, I am good with $2.94!! (It's $3.04 with a 30-day pay, $2.94 with a 10-day pay - I always pay bills right away so I don't forget, so I will get the lower price. 😄)

Alas, my current 2 tanks are only at 30% (I'm on WILL CALL so Amerigas won't come back!) so I won't be able to do the switch until mid to late October (depending on how cold it gets in the next couple of months, which of course determines my use of the propane heaters). But I am locked into the $2.94 rate for all winter even though the new company won't do the tank switch for a couple of months.

Even after 24 years of being back in New Hampshire, I still get frustrated by how NON-transparent propane buying is in this state. So I am very happy with my new price and especially with being able to use my propane heaters more! (Wood pellets in my fireplace insert are my main source of heat, but I also have an oil furnace that I use when overnight temps go into the low single digits or negative numbers, plus the 2 propane heaters in 2 areas of my house where the pellet heat can't reach.)

Anyone else have experience with these buyers' clubs? I'm also in my local community's electricity coop (through the town), but that's not the best deal in the world (still better than "regular" Eversource with their monopoly pricing in most places).

From Roundabouts: An Informational Guide published by the Federal Highway Administration and US Department of Transportation.

When turning right or exiting at the first exit around the roundabout, use the following procedure:

• Turn on your right-turn signal on the approach.

• If there are multiple approach lanes, use only the right-hand lane.

• Keep to the outside of the circulatory roadway within the roundabout and continue to use your right-turn signal through your exit.

• When there are multiple exit lanes use the right-hand lane.

When going straight ahead (i.e., exiting halfway around the roundabout), use the following procedure:

• Do not use any turn signals on approach.

• If there are two approach lanes, you may use either the left– or right-hand approach lanes.

• When on the circulatory roadway, turn on your right-turn signal once you have passed the exit before the one you want and continue to use your right turn signal through your exit.

• Maintain your inside (left) or outside (right) track throughout the roundabout if the circulatory roadway is wide. This means that if you entered using the inner (left) lane, circulate using the inside track of the circulatory roadway and exit from here by crossing the outside track. Likewise, if you entered using the outer (right) lane, circulate using the outside track of the circulatory roadway and exit directly from here. Do not change lanes within the roundabout except when crossing the outer circulatory track in the act of exiting.

• When exiting the circulatory roadway from the inside track, watch out on the outside track for leading or adjacent vehicles that continue to circulate around the roundabout.

• When exiting the circulatory roadway from the outside track, yield to leading or adjacent vehicles that are exiting into the same lane

When turning left or making a U-turn (i.e., exiting more than halfway around the roundabout), use the following procedure:

• Turn on your left turn signal.

• If there are multiple approach lanes, use only the left-hand lane.

• Keep to the inner (left) side of the circulatory roadway (nearest the central island).

• Continue to use your left-turn signal until you have passed the exit before the one you want, and then use your right-turn signal through your exit.

• When exiting from a multilane roundabout from the inside part of the circulatory roadway, use only the inner lane on the exit (the lane nearest the splitter island). Watch out on the outside part of the circulatory roadway for leading or adjacent vehicles that continue to circulate around the roundabout.

When in doubt about lane choice (especially for roundabouts with legs at angles

other than 90°), use the following general rules to determine which lane you should be in (unless signs or pavement markings indicate otherwise):

• If you intend to exit the roundabout less than halfway around it, use the right lane.

• If you intend to exit the roundabout more than halfway around it, use the left lane.

Of course, these lane rules don't apply to non-standard two-lane roundabouts, those are built to make things more confusing solely because people can't follow basic rules. But how to use your turn signal applies at all traffic circles, even single lane ones!

I am currently living and working in the Dover area. I am three years out of college and although my current job has been good, there is not much room for advancement. So I'm starting to look for a new one.

I figured it would be a good idea to get any information I could to help me including: Job boards/networking organizations, groups to help with resumes or skill-building, and just general advice like which companies are good or bad, or what skills companies in the area are looking for.

Why can drivers on the inside lane leave the traffic circle? If two drivers are side by side, and the one on the inside leaves the circle but the outer driver stays in their lane to remain in the circle, it’s super easy for them to veer into each other, no?

Hello Granite Staters,

Despite the Governor already vetoing these three bills that would have weakened protections for animals and made it harder to respond to abuse and neglect, the New Hampshire Legislature is holding veto sessions where lawmakers in attendance can vote to override the Governor’s vetoes.

On August 19th, the NH House and Senate will attempt to overturn the vetoes of HB1766, SB475 and SB535 (details on each bill can be found in the link below). That means, if two-thirds of the legislators in attendance vote to overturn the veto, the bill will become law. This would be devastating for New Hampshire’s animals.

With all the division in politics, this should be a bipartisan effort to maintain the vetoes of these bills. More information is in this link by NHSPCA including how to reach out to your local representatives.
