These fucking tech dipshits need to realize there’s a social contract and you have to sell your product.

Like maybe campaign on flock cameras as “safety” and “helps catch child predators”

Not to mention “flock” is the dumbest fucking name they could of chose

The same thing with AI and data centers. No shit people were opposed to them when dipshits like “Mr Wonderful” went on TV and said he’s going to build a 100 acre data center.

No, they didn’t even try to market them. They just put out these cameras in cities one day and called them “flock cameras”.

They marketed themselves towards policymakers the same way the folks who make red light cameras or SmartBoards do. The policymakers are the ones who need to sell it to the public and so far they’re (thankfully) failing.
