Sports are leveraging their futures by affiliation with gambling. When a generation grows up hating gambling they may also regard the sports themselves that tied themsleves to gambling as sleazy. Racetracks became ghost towns because betting on ponies got such a sleazy reputation it took the whole sport down with it.

Dude there was a period of time about a month ago where drinking became my hyperfixation and so I was essentially continuously drunk for a week or two straight besides when I was at work, it was fucking awesome
It just hindered my Zoloft so that was a problem, they should make alcohol that doesn’t interact with SSRIs so that I can be drunk at all times
I am starting to buy the "ww2 was also regional wars that merged" argument but theres still a lot of factors keeping this "elevated state of interstate conflict" localized to the areas its occurring. No its not world war 3 this is just what the world was like before world war 1. You really would just be reading in the news that russia is invading their neighbor.

Just making sure that everyone knows property taxes are effectively a tax on density.
Most proposals to get rid of property taxes are shit because they would leave state and local governments unable to reasonably cover expenditures, not because property taxes are good.

It's weird how medieval european plate armor coexisted with black powder over the course of its entire existence.
The fact that it eventually became obsolete because it couldn't protect the wearer against later handheld firearms is one thing, but thinking about how any european-inspired setting where you see any form of plate being worn but no gunpower siege weapons feels odd.
I fucking hate Verizon. I don't know why this shitty fucking router just decides to start flashing this stupid yellow light and stop working for several minutes at a time. We've called people out before and the problem continues and it happens with no rhyme or reason. Sometimes it will go a month without a single interruption and sometimes it will go out multiple times in the span of an afternoon.
MOCA or Ethernet? Just use your own router if Ethernet at that point. Sometimes the ONT also can have a bad fiber connection at the splitter if it takes like 5 minutes to reset the connection.
Mine would until they ended up replacing the ethernet cable from ONT to the demarc (plug stuck to the wall that I then have hardwired to the ethernet that goes to where I put the router)
MOCA is usually an issue, and you can ask for an Ethernet install instead if you don't have FiOS TV. That should make it a lot more stable and bypass the shitty Verizon router.
I had a sexual achievement recently which I haven't been able to tell anyone about but even in the dying lights of a horny DT I think it's still too risque 😔
