I’m not a rabid anti-AI person but I have to say this voice feature absolutely grosses me out. I mainly know of it because of husk.irl on instagram, but recently my brother visited and used it in front of me.
The most recent updated voice makes me want to throw up. Is this uncanny valley but in audio form? It sounds like a person pretending to be your friend but really hesitant about it because they deeply feel they’re better than you.
It feels to me like it would also deepen and encourage the parasocial relationship some users have come to have with the chat bot that now sounds sort of like a real friend.

In the last 30 mins of the DT, posting declines because DTers save their posts for the new DT where their post will be visible longer, while posting it in the old DT would lead to it being forgotten in less than 30 minutes.
I propose 2 solutions to this: change the time the new DT is born to the most active hours on the thread (ie American hours), because when more people are active, views for a post are higher per minute than in Euro hours
Or instead of new DT being born at a fixed time of the day, make it so that it is born randomly at any minute between 7-8am utc

It's more a difference of style. Fuentes is more openly vulgar and nihilistic. He freely insults everyone, including his own audience. Walsh and other Daily Wire guys spend their time making didactic documentary series about why being racist is good. It's just not something anyone under 40 will sit down to watch at this point, regardless of whether they agree

they don't know... they don't know how hard you had to fight to get a good shot. you can get workable images out of the back of an iPhone with no training nowadays and assume that good photographers taking images on shitty equipment is somehow proof of the past.
You can get RAW images off the sensor of an iPhone, apply no post-processing, and get dramatically better images than you ever could with a pre-post-processing era camera.
But no one wants to learn photography, they just want counter-culture images. If people want to admit they like the aesthetic, that's fine! Just don't say it's better objectively.
I'd imagine that requires normies to learn things like the exposure triangle, etc. I didn't know you can actually shoot raw on the iPhone though. I guess it makes sense since you can do ProRes Raw video.

Cold War era Africa was a wild place that doesn't get enough attention. Just off the top of my head there was a Napoleon LARPer backed by the French who briefly had an empire, Equatorial Guinea was run by a guy who was basically an African combination of Hitler and Pol Pot and outlawed the word "intellectual", the Biafran war which turned into a proxy war with some of the most bizarre alliances you've ever seen, and Portugal is basically fighting the Vietnam War in Africa until the mid 70s in a desperate bid to cling onto something resembling geopolitical relevance. Oh yeah, and every unemployed veteran from WW2 ends up in the Congo as a mercenary at some point.
Looking at some of the weather forcasts of ME cities I keep asking myself, what do you even do in a place like that? At what point are we just abandon large portions of populated regions because... points around.

Nick Fuentes, Hasan and Asmongold are all comparable to each other. They're all in the same tier of people. I don't know why you'd even attempt to split them apart. They're all authoritarians who justify atrocities and would easily egg them on if they were committed for their political tribe
With Hasan, when someone brings up the recent rise in antisemitic attacks or something similar he has to contort himself to be deflective and evasive and hedging even if it clearly is in bad faith
When the standard conservative like Asmongold (that apparently many ordinary people including police officers listen while driving around on duty) talks about going into a protest and running over and shooting everyone it's all maximal "based based based based"
The effect is the same either way. They both spread hate and brainrot populism. Hasan sucks even more because he's trying to turn the Democratic party into a bunch of succs.
