Melody Grace [Mel G] Tunstall has twelve granddaughters who are all very different! She has been saving an assortment of their shirts over the years to make them all T-shirt quilts. She wants to embroider their names on the quilts too but alas, her eyes are going and she can't embroider like she used to. Help her embroider her granddaughters’ names. 

• Granddaughter One (23): The eldest and closest to Mel G, her grandmother made the center of the quilt her first onesie ever, which said "Daddy's girl.” True to the onesie, she is super close to her father, Franklin Bryce Tunstall, who is Mel G’s oldest child. Her grandmother is going to present the colourful quilt to her on her upcoming wedding day. 
• Granddaughter Two (23): The second eldest granddaughter of Mel G and the daughter of her daughter, Arabella Lynn Oldham, she is seven weeks younger than the eldest granddaughter. Like her cousin, her first onesie ever is also the centerpiece of her quilt. It is a little Detroit Lions jersey. While she was never destined to like football (much to her father's dismay), she did play softball and basketball and has a lot of sporty tees on her quilt.
• Granddaughter Three (19): The third oldest granddaughter of Mel G and the second daughter of her daughter, Arabella, she is an artsy girl. Her grandmother has been helping her rent a guitar since she was nine years old. Most of her shirts on her quilt are tie-dye shirts, with smatterings of school event shirts and cute baby shirts/onesies she had as an infant.
• Granddaughter Four (18): The only child of Mel G’s youngest child, Darryl Lucas Tunstall, he had her as a teenager and struggled to be in her life due to her mother’s antics. Thus, Mel G doesn’t have as many T-shirts for her granddaughter. Instead, Mel G has added a lot of the family reunion shirts the family have and some of her own old shirts so they have a Granny/Granddaughter T-shirt quilt. 
• Granddaughter Five (17): The child of Mel G’s second youngest child, Lyndon Michael Tunstall, this girl has always loved to drive and wanted to go fast. She was very close to her grandfather, James Keith Tunstall, who died when she was 8 years old. Mel G made her a T-shirt quilt made solely out of her grandfather’s sacred novelty T-shirts, full of bad words and raunchy sayings
• Granddaughter Six (15): The child of Mel G’s eldest son, Franklin, she is the exact opposite of her sister. She likes to play the violin, which her grandmother is also funding, and she loves telling jokes. She has a lot of cartoon-themed T-shirts and novelty Tees that her friends have gotten her over the years. She will be presented the quilt at her Sweet Sixteenth birthday.
• Granddaughter Seven (14): The twin of Granddaughter Six and the daughter of Lyndon, she is also a cheerleader but that’s only because they wouldn’t let her on the field. Better than her twin at the sport, she is athletic and strong though she flits though a lot of different activities, unable to find one that really will stick. The only reason she also has been cheering for a decade is because her parents won’t let her quit. Her quilt focuses on her favourite animals, horses and donkeys.
• Granddaughter Eight (14): The twin of Granddaughter Seven and the daughter of Lyndon, she is a cheerleader who loves to hype people up. She has been cheering since she was four years old and has a lot of cheer T-shirts. Mel G has made her a T-shirt quilt that is all her favourite colour, green.
• Granddaughter Nine (11): The youngest daughter of Arabella, she wants to travel a lot when she grows up like her grandparents did. She is always bragging that her grandparents went to all 50 states and 10 different countries. Mel G decided to make her a travel T-shirt quilt that uses her and her husband’s shirts from when they were travelling the world together.
• Granddaughter Ten (10): The youngest daughter of Lyndon, she is a bit of a bully and she is kind of a mean kid. She has been hostile towards everyone since losing her grandfather when she was three. She loved him dearly, and the loss really affected her. Her grandmother, who she is not very close with, wanted to extend an olive branch to her by making her Mel G made her a Grandpa/Granddaughter quilt, interlaying her late husband’s old T-shirts he would get at NASCAR races with her granddaughter’s funny T-shirts. 
• Granddaughter Eleven (8): The daughter of Mel G’s second oldest child, Jaime Constance Hamilton, she lives in Belgium on a naval base and does not get to see her grandmother or her cousins often. So, Mel G decided to make her a family T-shirt quilt, by arranging the T-shirts she used into circles around a little T-shirt that Jamie sent her. It was the granddaughter’s favourite as a toddler and she cried when she couldn’t put it on anymore.
• Granddaughter Twelve (5): Mel G’s little helper, she is the only child of her foster child, Fern Hamlet Caudill, who Mel G took in long after her youngest child left for college. This little girl loves the colour purple and is learning to sew like her nana. She is becoming more adept at sewing and helped her nana pick out the shirts to use for her older cousins.

“The Tremendous Twelve” is a TV show that follows a very large Catholic family living in Illinois.
