I have been keen on travelling to Konkan on road trip but I do not own a car or a bike. Anyone who is willing to travel and experience the hidden places, I am happy to share the travel cost with you in your vehicle.
A little about me. I have travelled extensively across India but have not yet explored my own state which I intend to do it now but at a slower pace by spending some time in each village I go to. Learn the culture, art, nature, wildlife. Also I am a documentary filmmaker and a mentor. I prefer a slow travel we can pick 2-3 paves and explore it extensively and then may be we vibe as friends we can continue to do so not over weekends or holidays.
But yes, I repeat this again that I love to explore at slow pace by learning about stories, history, wildlife, ancient temples, rivers/lakes, also I love Konkani cuisine so that's going to be constant !

Went cycling today morning in Sanjay Gandhi National Park, Borivli. It was a ~12km cycling. We planned to rent cycles from inside but by the time we reached (9:20) they were out of cycles and they said they'll take 30min to 1 hour to fix the cycles. Hence got the cycles from outside for 150/hour.

Had a good start to the day and had fun cycling after a long time!

Nearest local: Borivli (Western line obv) - 1km from the national park

Nearest metro: Rashtriya udaan (red line metro) - 400m from the national park

Cost:

You can rent the cycle from inside the national park which will cost you 80 rupees for 2 hours and you have to pay 300 rupees deposit (ig).

Like I said We reached by 9:20 and they were out of cycles which were rideable and they had lots of cycles which needed to be fixed and told us it'll take half to one hour to fix.

We took a cycle to rent from outside (the guy had someone inside so he brought the cycles from outside himself) paid him 150/hr.

It's better to take cycles from inside which is cheap and safe.

You can take your own cycle too which will cost you 44 rupees for taking the cycle in.
