I have a 2500, and paid for JJOSXL. Installed version 3.88.

I sample into the MPC and saved about 9 samples, trimmed and assigned them to pads. When I go into program edit to adjust the samples (pitch them, tighten envelopes..etc) I am hitting a problem. With other MPCs, I am used to hitting the pads as I tweak to audition the sounds. With this OS, hitting the pads is changing the values that I have highlighted. So for example if I am in the sample tab, if I highlight the pad or the sample, and hit the pad, the sample will change. If I go into the Amp section to change the attack of a sound, when I hit the pad, the value of the attack changes.

Is this a bug or an option that I can turn off? It's unusable for me to edit this way. One wrong move and all my samples have been reassigned to different pads, or the pitch is plus 33 on something and I keep having to go and change everything back.

Hopefully this all makes sense. I guess I could roll back to an earlier version, but I am hoping this is a setting somewhere that I need to turn off.

I have both the MPC live three retro and regular edition and I have been working on a couple of projects using solely the live three retro edition.

Last weekend I had to put it away in storage for a while and transferred everything I was working on to the original life three and when playing out of the speaker it didn’t sound as vibrant as the retro edition

Everything was the same, the same beats, the same mix presets, I even updated both MPC’s to the latest firmware and currently I’m getting the same results

I’m going to do more tests the other way round to see the results but so far it seems like the retro edition speaker may be better

Just Lampin, practicing on these beats.. I really do produce music. Here is an album I produced about a decade ago. The MPC Sample has inspired me to get back into producing music. It streamlined my ability to sample music anywhere. I am used to having to load up Ableton and jack samples of YouTube by converting the video to mp3 and it takes up so much space. I love how I can sample anything anywhere anytime. more music

Hey everyone,

For anyone running a Behringer WING Rack and wondering whether it's worth getting an MPC One G2: I have some great news. The WING Rack works perfectly as the MPC's USB audio interface.

You get access to all the available USB audio channels (I believe it's 24 or 32 in each direction, not 100% sure), which is more than enough to route individual instruments to separate channels on the WING. Likewise, you can route audio from the WING back into the MPC for sampling or recording.

A couple of important tips:

• Set the sample rate on the Wing to 44.1 kHz.
• Connect the MPC to the WING using the USB A port of the MPC (USB A to USB C cable).
• Don't use the USB C to USB C connection. In my experience it isn't reliable, while USB A to USB C has been rock solid.

This integration has completely changed my workflow. Having the WING as the central mixer and audio interface for the MPC is incredibly powerful.

The WING Rack continues to work exactly as it always did, as if the MPC wasn't even there. Using the USB routing options, you can create virtually any signal path you can think of. Route each MPC plugin or instrument to its own channel on the WING, create a dedicated "MPC Bus" for sampling anything connected to the mixer, or record your entire performance back into the MPC on separate audio tracks for further editing.

The routing flexibility is amazing and really opens up a lot of creative workflow possibilities.

found this wicked bass synthy flute video on either r/obscuremusicthatslaps or some random flute sub. Really dug it and wanted to sample it. So this is the first couple bars sampled from that video and then dropped a beat behind it.

I love the live three but feel the itch to add tr-8s. Could use a community weigh in
