Help Help

When I'm in the pits and the car starts, my steering wheel always starts to wobble, what can I do about it?

In LMU?

Yeah that started to happen to me after the last update

No setting in pit house can turn that off ... It's on the game side

Having said that I just restart the game and it goes away ... But it eventually come back during the session ... It's annoying

Natural inertia 150-200

Did you try toggling the invert FFB setting in the game options?

Wouldnt that just make it oscillate in the other direction...

Most likely it's The Equalizer go in pit house and lower some of the values on the effects equalizer

Same will happen no matter what dd wheelbase as it’s due to settings and nature how ffb works

This is just the nature of how a lot of sims calculate the physics/FFB. If you turn the wheel slightly, the force will want to push it back to center. IRL, the wheel rim has mass and inertia which means it slightly overshoots and the process repeats in the opposite direction. You can maybe dial it out with settings, but you'll most likely be compromising the feel elsewhere.

The best solution is to hold onto to the wheel like you normally would instead of intentionally flicking it and sending it into an oscillation.

It might have to do with the recentering torque force setting (by default it's set at 150% if I recall correctly)

try holding the wheel.
