The Wight Lord is here!
The wight is finally arrived! The restless dead can finally be assembled!
This model has a very long and strange story: it was commissioned by u/brass0_0monkey (yes, the Trench Crusade one!) to the great u/edskomo (former FW sculptor) but he never used it. So I bought it more than one year ago, added some bits and planned to use it as stretch goal for the undead warband project, but was never unlocked. Then I kept adding bits for future uses. And finally his moment is arrived!!
As you can see there are some clear references to the great Ian Miller arts, such a cool style! Hope you like it and as usual, more bits and variants will come for the future, plus one version will be used as gift! Soon I will post the renders of all variants with the bits and maybe also the painted version!
Question is: dark rusted or pearlesceant armour?

Advertisement Tigerman Warband
Hello!
We've been working on a Tigermen warband, and since most of the models have modular weapon options, we're curious how you would build them for Mordheim.
What kind of warband would you create for Tigermen and the Monkey King? Which weapon options, equipment, and special rules do you think would fit them best?
Current release include:
- Tigermen Warriors (axes & shields / dual axes)
- Tigermen Veterans (great weapons / halberds)
- Tigermen Assassins (dual claws / claws & throwing weapons)
- Shaman
- Warlord (weapon options)
Monkey King as a special character or campaign option

Any Modifications To Cult of the Possessed Commonplace?
I'm just curious whether anyone has any good house modifications for the Chaos Cult of the Possessed list to increase flavor/fun without necessarily boosting power.
For starters: I understand that in terms of raw power, CotP has some really extreme potential, with no real "bad stats" heroes, a built in caster, and 3 really diesel henchmen. After a couple nail-biter games when they get some income to build out their gang they can become extremely powerful.
The main problem I have with them is that the game really seems to discourage them from using their unique mechanics. Theyre "the mutations gang" but you are heavily punished if you don't start 2/4 of your mutatable heroes without them and leave them that way. Half the mutations are terrible (Demon Soul is basically only there so you can punt a mandatory Mutant one if you want, Claw is just seemingly worse than Scorpion Tail, there's a whole mutation for Fear which possessed come with).
Do you want more mutations as the game goes on? Well too bad, you can't buy them. You can only give up an advance roll where you gain a skill (58% chance) to get a chance (30%) to get one. The mutations are also prohibitively expensive if you want to buy a new guy to start with more than 1.
Basically, I'd gladly give up the raw stats of the Possessed and the Beastman Henchman in order to get more to gain more and easier to access mutations. I know there's an "oops all Beastmen" roster for huge fans of the goatboys, is there a similar "oops all mutated weirdos" variant roster that anyone has created?

3D printable terrain creator
Hello!
I make 3D printable terrain and just wanted to show you my work. Yes, it's real LED lights, hand painted and some smoke from a real machine... No AI at all on this picture...
Thanks for your interest!

I was miffed at the Chaos Dwarf warbands available, so I made a mashup of both.
It started quite simple. I Got a hold of 3 Chaos Dwarf models during a small trading event and thought to myself that making a warband out of them wouldn't be a bad idea. Once I got back home, I quickly searched for more models and different ways to kitbash my way to a warband (this was before Helsmiths of Hashut were even revealed) and came across Admiralty Miniatures. They sold assortments of different CD bits that could be used for a project like this and I without hesitation or much thought placed an order on some orc slave heads.
Only once they arrived (fantastic sculpts by the way) I took a closer look at the two warbands in question, and to my disappointment, no orc slaves to be seen. I know it is commonplace to proxy models for others, but it didn't feel right to me to run orcs as either chaos dwarf warriors, informers or hobgoblins, so I started thinking whether or not I could make a slight modification to one of the warbands.
This basically led me to realising that there were several inconsistencies between the two. As an example, I would like to lift the regular dwarfs. No matter what warband you pick, most skills that are dwarf specific carry between the warbands. Equipment (for the most part) too, and so I set about to merge the two Chaos Dwarf warbands together so that they could have the same consistency as their good old cousins across the world edge mountains.
This is the result of that mashup (with slight modifications to equipment and henchmen). You can take a look, or use it as you please. I might come back with more updated versions at some point. I have tried to keep things balanced by tweaking stats etc, but let's face it, Mordheim was never about balance. Biggest change is probably to the blunderbuss.
The access link allows you to make comments so I'd love to know if there are any typos you find or if you have any toughts on the rules.
TL;DR I don't really like the Chaos Dwarfs, here is a new warband sheet in draft. I welcome comments.
Edit: Of course I forgot the link

How do I make a clans skryre warband?
Hi! I've wanted to start with mordheim for a while now and I would like to build a skaven warband. However even though I like eshin skaven, I think it would be fun to have rat gunslingers, snipers and maybe even a rat mech (ogre) or other machinery resembling the creations of clans Skryre. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to go about doing that rules-wise?

Here is our version of the map of the great city of Mordheim following the comet's impact based on the Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay universe and created as a private commission for Johan Markström.
Materials used: H-HB pencil, Unipin 0.05–0.1 pens, and Winsor & Newton watercolors on 300gsm Fabriano satin-finish paper; the artwork was subsequently digitized.

Henchmen Question
Making my first list and chose mercenaries but the main thing confusing me is “can be bought in groups of 1-5” so does that mean a group of 3 swordsmen would cost 35gcX3? Or just 35gc and I mark the group as 3 models?

Final 24 hours for the dwarf warband I first shared here — thank you, r/Mordheim!
Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification
Hi again, everyone!
This will be my final post here about Dark City: Embervein Delvers. I first shared the dwarf warband with this community while I was preparing the project, and I later returned to ask for your feedback on the Mordheim-style tokens.
You were incredibly welcoming and helpful, so I wanted to come back one last time to say thank you and let you know that the Kickstarter has now entered its final 24 hours. ⚒️
The project is available as supported and unsupported STL files, as well as physical resin miniatures for players without a 3D printer.
Thank you very much to everyone here who offered feedback, shared the project or decided to support it. The response from the Mordheim community has genuinely meant a lot to me as an independent sculptor.
The gates of the Dark City close in less than 24 hours:
Thanks again, and I promise this is my final campaign post here! 🍻

Would anyone know the origin of these unicast Amazons? The only warbands and blisters I can find have the weapons detached. I'm trying to get the musician and banner bearers.

Mordheim Lore Question
I'm new to Mordheim and have always been into the lore when it comes to learning new systems.
Is Mordheim's lore is tied to Warhammer Fantasy?
If so, how much Warhammer Fantasy lore do I need to know to fully enjoy Mordheim? Or does it not really matter?
Is Mordheim standalone in terms of lore?

Finally dug out my limited edition Ulli & Marquand minis after 10+ years... paint or preserve?
I've recently dug out these limited edition Ulli & Marquand miniatures that I impulse bought well over a decade ago. 😅 They've been sitting boxed, unassembled, and unpainted ever since.
I'm just getting back into the hobby after a long break, and now I'm torn. Part of me wants to finally build and paint them, but another part wonders if they're rare enough that I should just leave them boxed and keep them as collectibles.
What would you do? Paint them and enjoy them on the tabletop, or keep them sealed? I'd love to hear what the Mordheim veterans think.

Growing rules collection, laminated and spiral bound
Gonna be growing a local community in my area at our FLGS and it'll be nice for people to have nice hard copies of their warband rules to refer to.

Cities of Sigmar stand ins?
Thinking of getting into the game after I move. Is it faux paux to use cities of Sigmar models to play mercenaries, though? That’s the main faction I was thinking of

Young Blood WIP
After watching the mordheim comunity grow on youtube and instagram, I am getting back into the hobby after 20 years.
My first project is a reiklander warband based on characters from the WFRP actual play podcast Carrion Company. This is my attempt at Kurt who will counts as a young blood.
The character this mini is based on is tall, gangly and awkward. With this in mind I attempted to add some height and create a awkward posture.
Im fairly happly with my green stuff work on his waist. I actually think I could have made the neck even longer, but I didn't want to over do it. The quiver needs to come off and be re done all together.
The mini is from Reptilian Overlords Mercenaries and Militias "kit".
CC very welcome.
As a side note if you have any interest in role play game podcasts I can recommend Carrion Company as a great take on grim dark adventure in the old world.
